  1. What do you think of the Geo Pro camper?

I'm doing some research and I like off road camper options like Escapade and Hiker Trailer and High Altitude, etc. I stop by this RV place near me and they were telling me the Geo Pro is on par with those if you get the off road package, which is just a lift and bigger tires. I called another...
  2. Any gym rats?

Yeah i guess I am. Boot camp class 2x a week, biking or running 2-3x a week. Lifting 2-3x a week. 1x a week yoga. 2 ruptured discs means no more super heavy weights. I remember being able to leg press 650 a couple years back. I was lifting a lot and not doing that much cardio and then i went for...
  3. Ford workers joining GM in solidarity for strike

Well now is your chance! Just show up and the ceo will probably give you one of the jobs at 63 per hour. After overhead, benefits, taxes, etc it might be a lot less that you actually take home, but that is still decent depending on where you live.
  4. Manual Transmission Club

Dude that should not be happening. You should have it looked at.
  5. Tonneau Covers and Bed Racks

Awesome! Thank you. I was really wondering how my setup is going to look and how difficult this is going to be. Glad to see it will be easy. I can't wait to get my rack! See you guys at the overland expo.
  6. Feedback/experience on 4.10s with 37s

Nice! What mods are you looking at? I tried to get an elk 2 years ago in Northern Idaho. No luck, but I'll probably go back in a year or so. Bow hunting is hard!
  7. Jeep wave-back question

This has really been great. I had no idea what kind of response or trend I would get from everyone.
  8. Imogene & Ophir Pass, CO

Those badges are cool! I didn't know about them.
  9. Yakima Outpost HD w/ Skyrise 3 Roof Top Tent

That is why I didn't go with them. I wanted something more versatile and something not locked into their system. I went with the jcr rack. Hopefully it will work really well. I'll let you know when I get it.
  10. Manual Transmission Club

So I was talking with one of the guards on base and he likes a manual because he's more engaged in the drive. I was thinking if that's true then manuals might be the thing that helps keep people off their phones while driving. Im sure it's just "too much work" for most people to drive manuals...
  11. Manual Transmission Club

Wow so 1k miles on mine stock and im getting 17.1 mpg. That's hardly any difference. Also half of my driving is freeway.
  12. Bed cover on the cheap! (From Chevy Colorado)

Did you try it yet? I got the access original and i'm hoping it works.
  13. Manual Transmission Club

Yeah but I'll get just a lighter camper. In the mean time I get to drive a manual, which is much more fun!
  14. Bed cover on the cheap! (From Chevy Colorado)

Ah so no way you can put a rack on it too? Does it take up most of the side?
  15. Truck bed mat for Gladiator, rubber?

Would it be weird to make one out of thin wooden planks that could also be used as a camping patio or firewood if ever stuck in the snow at -60 below? You know how people make walls and ceilings out of wood in their van builds? Something like that maybe?
  16. Aftermarket Trailer Brakes?

If I am only ever going to tow one camper, would it be frugal to just get a cheap controller? I heard once you get the setting where you want it, then you just leave it there forever right? I don't know about this stuff and haven't towed before so that is why I am asking.
  17. Jeep wave-back question

I started waving at other jeeps when i got my gladiator and there are a lot of jeeps in my area. I work on an army base and see many every day. I noticed something. The vast majority of the wave-backs are from men. I had one, yes, one woman wave back and she sort of saw me wave, panicked, and...
  18. Running the entire expanse of the Great Salt Lake

Damn you're kids are lucky. I would've killed for that experience at that age. I'm going to make sure mine does that when hes about 4.
