  1. Electronic Swaybar Disco Questions

An Antirock is a very very soft swaybar. I have one on my 2006 Rubicon however that one has multiple holes for the arm to adjust tension. Personally, I would keep the stock Rubicon one. If you are going to do a scratch build from a Sport, then yes this is a good middle ground but just know...
  2. Take off suspension....what to do with it?

Stock suspension...scrap metal bin at the transfer station.
  3. When buying out of town, has anyone had any problems getting service or warrantee work done locally?

I called Chrysler and filed a complaint when they refused to service my truck and another with the Better Business Bureau.
  4. When buying out of town, has anyone had any problems getting service or warrantee work done locally?

2 of my most local Jeep dealers refuse to do warranty work if you don't buy from them. I'm still buying from 8 hours south because the local dealers refused to even come close to the 7% below invoice pricing.
  5. Best seat covers for the Gladiator?

I wonder if it is different strokes for different folks but some of the ones mentioned here are universally hated on the TJ forums, specifically any of the neoprene styles.
  6. They had the capability, they made it better, stronger, faster...

Breathe better? Intake and exhaust modifications are purely for the sound, you'll get no real world difference. Towing, get the auto, most all trims it is nearly double the tow rating. Highest capacity is a sport or sport S max tow package followed by Rubicon. Landscape trailer or bed load...
  7. Tips on added anchor points?

Check your owner's manual but I believe the trail rail is rated for 250 lbs per anchor point on the rail. The key there is I think there's only 2 sliding anchors per side but you have a stout rail anchored in all those bolt holes. I would have no worries tieing down to the rail system but I...
  8. Help Dialing In Rubicon with Mopar Lift and 37s

The "squish" doesn't make your tire smaller in circumference, it is flattening out which does make the height shorter. Measuring the mounted height is also wrong. Your speedometer needs tire circumference, aka, the length of the tread at operating pressure. This is how far your vehicle...
  9. Designing covers for media hub and front outlets

Have you tried printing that so it is a "tall" part not a "short fat" part? I don't know what the back side looks like but you could get rid of all the "waves" if you printed it on it's side.
  10. Tow Mirrors - Rampage Adapters for JT/JL

Maybe I missed it. Do you have any interest in offering the part files to those of us with our own printers? Personal use only of course. STL only for printing, or if you want another set of eyes for mockup of the differently angled base, I use AutoDESK Fusion 360. (10 years industrial...
  11. How to adjust soft top hinges

Good job. That was my first thought reading the complaints about the loose latches is that either the hooked nose is either threaded too long or the base isn't adjusted right. But apparently the hook length isn't adjustable.
  12. Issues with heated steering wheel

My Ram 1500 was like that. I also had some stitching pulling apart and the dealer replaced the wheel assembly under warranty. Now the heat is pretty even and toasty.
  13. Mopar Steel Front Bumper Ebay

Any of these bolt on bars are more or less decorative in my opinion. They will deflect brush that would scratch your paint but much more that than, not likely. Sure it might be a 1.75" or 2" "bar" but it is held on with 4 little bolts that you can see how small they are in the photos with the...
  14. Mopar Steel Front Bumper Ebay

That looks to be 1/8" thick roughly? And it does appear to tie in more on the sides than I thought. At first glance it looked like it only had the front 4 fasteners. It seemed like it would just fold up with a solid pull. That does seem workable. Thanks!
  15. Mopar Steel Front Bumper Ebay

Does anyone have decent pictures of the design of the included winch plate? It looks pretty flimsy in the ebay photos.
  16. Help...electrical issue

When I installed AMP steps on my 2016 Ram Power Wagon they came with a whip that was a plug in on the OBD2 port, there was no splicing required. I wonder why they can't do that for the JT?
  17. ARB stubby bumper

Thanks! I'll be looking for something without the upper bar when I get a winch.
  18. ARB stubby bumper

OK thanks. Any chance you could grab a picture sometime?
  19. ARB stubby bumper

How is the camera view with the top hoop?
  20. Gladiator Deer Hoist: Calling all engineers

Engineer by profession, dork by choice. This is the whole reason you use a breaker bar on your tires not a 3/8" stubby ratchet. The farther from the base of your lift, the "heavier" your lift is.
