  1. Ripp coils: Snake oil/junk

Even with Hemi's non oem coils are often junk - most hellcats pushing big power are still using the OEM coils - they work well and don't leave much room for improvement from what i have seen.
  2. Stellantis and Jeep facing UAW strike.

If this happens - Stellantis will sign some deal with the UAW to get back going ... they shift production for the WL to other countries shift production for Wranglers and Gladiator to Mexico or elsewhere (maybe Canada) Close down U.S. production. They have some collective bargaining yes -...
  3. Stellantis and Jeep facing UAW strike.

No - the federal government mandated that because shitbags were not wanting to pay people - or if it didn't exist they would pay people in loose tree leaves or whatever garbage they have. Also the income tax was only meant to be in place to pay for the war effort (WWII) and has never went away...
  4. Never buying another CDJR product again (warranty cancellation fun).

if we do buy another Jeep - we will probably go that route. I am sick of dealing with the dealers in the NoVA area.
  5. Never buying another CDJR product again (warranty cancellation fun).

Fun fact - I was told by a CDJR dealer here in the NoVA area - that they would not sell me a new Challenger 392 wide body - unless I financed it - they said they have a policy on not dealing with Cash/Check - due to "Fraud Reasons" - i won't name/call out the dealer - but i've had nothing but...
  6. Never buying another CDJR product again (warranty cancellation fun).

As a product - imo the gladiator is superior to a tacoma. Especially if your looking at ruggedness/offroad capability. I've been on the forum preaching this for atleast the past few years or so. I find the toyota diehards annoying - where I have difficult is that last bit - if i sell the car -...
  7. Never buying another CDJR product again (warranty cancellation fun).

My experience has been quite the opposite - how many of them did you own ? My main grip with Toyota is that their dealers act like its a privilege for them to let you buy a vehicle from them. CDJR dealers are mostly high pressure tactics - while trying to tack on a bunch of garbage you don't...
  8. Never buying another CDJR product again (warranty cancellation fun).

So over the past 3 years I have had atleast 10 new CDJR products - between a grand cherokee 4 gladiators, a few ram 2500s (most recent being a 24 power wagon). I did not know that one of the gladiators I traded in had a warranty on it (Mopar warranty) and i forgot to cancel it. Needless to say...
  9. Stellantis Q2 2024 Sales Numbers: Jeep Gladiator

If you buy a Jeep and your that concerned about fuel economy you are just buying the wrong type of vehicle - my 4runner easily got around the same mileage as a wrangler and they sell like hot cakes - not so sure that this is a fuel economy thing - but more along the outrageous pricing they are...
  10. Stellantis Q2 2024 Sales Numbers: Jeep Gladiator

Honestly not sure what they expected - my wife's JT had a sticker of nearly $80k (thankfully we did not buy it for anywhere near that). $80k for a midsize truck is really steep and its not like Stellantis upped the quality or anything - they just kept jacking up prices... its not only JT - its...
  11. I have some time to decide. opinions wanted. LTX or HEMI

I can absolutely relate - i've dumped insane amounts of money and time into BMW's before realizing they were cheaply made (mostly plastic, crap connectors and insane maintenance items such as rod bearings in some cases). They make things that sound awesome on paper but are terrible to own (N63)...
  12. I have some time to decide. opinions wanted. LTX or HEMI

Going from the JT to the power wagon i can tell you the hemi will not disappoint in my 7600+lb truck the 6.4 scoots it along really well and the exhaust note is best in the business - i don't think there is a modern V8 that sounds as good as the gen 3 hemi's (especially the apache/eagle hemis)...
  13. Gladiator vs the power wagon

I traded my JTR for a 24 Power Wagon. I gotta say the fuel mileage is a wash - i get around 14-16mpg in my PW. Where as I was averaging around 17 in my JTR - if your arguing fuel economy you really shouldn't be looking at Jeep or Truck anyway. If you are thinking about doing a 392 swap, 1 ton...
  14. Upgraded to a '24 Power Wagon

Seen those around - but no way i am going to fork down 6 figures - i thought myt ruck was too expensive after discounts - OUCH ! Those things are super cool though - that one is probably a diesel (which i'll never do again after my experience with my 22 2500 cummins) - prospector xl's come with...
  15. Upgraded to a '24 Power Wagon

Where I am going space won't be a problem. Original reasons why i went from a 3/4 ton to a JTR myself. But now I do need something that can do what a 1/2 ton does but more burly (Power Wagons have more diminished payload/towing than a normal 3/4 ton because of the softer rear springs/offroad...
  16. Upgraded to a '24 Power Wagon

We still have a Gladiator - (My Wife's lol). Yeah same size as a JTR - luckily bigger tires (35s fit with stock wheels/offset and 37s with a different offset) TY Sir Oh yeah - if it wasn't for the deep discounts at the time - i wouldn't have pulled the trigger - sticker on this one was...
  17. Upgraded to a '24 Power Wagon

I needed something with a bit more payload, towing capacity (not typical 2500 capacity), and an engine that can cruise at 70mph on grades effortlessly (atleast unloaded) so I got a power wagon. Seen quite a few people with Gladiators go down this route as well. Also yes bigger tires are planned...
  18. DMV Weight Fee

No its not - not in VA. Infact my Ram 2500 Diesel costed less to register and insure than my Gladiator. CA is a beautiful state ran by sociopaths. Always wanted to move and even went to mountain view and toured and denied the offer due to the disparity in living expenses - even though the pay...
  19. Order Issue (Resolved)

    Edited due to resolution.
  20. Dear Bestop…

Any plans to make a full soft top for the Gladiator - would be nice to have another option than the OEM (Which i think you guys make for Jeep). Would be cool to have something that would roll completely back (even if it is kind of obstructing the bed space a little) instead of just stuffing up...
