I removed the soft top without removing or moving the Alucab Camper, it required two of us but we got it done and now it’s for sale since I replaced it with the hard top which we also installed without moving the camper
Just finished my dual swing away rear carrier, ordered new tires 35’s and new Clayton suspension will be ordered in the next few days and still waiting for the custom gas tank
Have not needed them as of yet, after I actually use them I’ll post up if they work or not, might be a one time use we’ll just have to wait and see
The ladders on the roof are an extension ladder that I cut down to make sand/mud /snow traction bars. I think the sand rails that are sold are over priced plus we tested some a few years ago and we found that the nubs actually burned off as we tried to get unstuck
This will be 5th or 6th drive up I really love being in the North during the summer, I’ll be going up to Prudhoe as well as going to Tuktoyakuk as I get closer to Palmer I’ll be in touch
CB radios are on their way out, I’m in 4 different clubs and everyone has switched to gmrs, race radios and or ham. The higher the antenna is mounted over the vehicle the better reception, that also goes for small stubby types
Stephen I’m doing the same trip this summer only starting in Key West Hwy 1 mile marker 0, Tuk is define as well as Deadhorse, great pictures reminds me of my previous trips up there
