What was your Arctic expedition?

All of us are always remodeling our rigs, I’ve done 06 at least 5 or 6 times and my gladiator is almost done, no more redo’s I hope

I too mounted the rear camera low between the bumper and the Alu cab, I also had the side wings between the cab and the Alucab put on hinges so that they swing out and in that space having a custom built gas tank made that will hold approximately 20 gallons fuel

I have a factory soft top not the premium, just replaced with a hard top, selling my soft top for $500

We came down the rug road in my stock gladiator no issues I’d rate it a 3+, coming up would be a little more difficult but doable

I did this trip in February and it was a great time, I also did the rug road

Matt if you’re going to Alaska this summer maybe I’ll run into you as I’m planning a summer trip to Alaska too

I have the Alucab Canopy Camper and it’s great I love it the only thing that I’ve add to it on the outside I made drop down tables and the interior is built out for my needs

I love that setup but at 4K it’s pricey, I did run into a hitch mount unit that’s similar if I remember correctly it’s about 2k here is a picture of it

My 2 cents it took me 6 months to decide between a Rubicon and a Mohave. It all came down to this , I’d rather have the lockers and not need them than to need them and not have them. Both are very capable machines

No some days are guaranteed, I’d rather say I did it as opposed to saying I wish I did it. Usually on my return trips from Alaska someone always says I’ll go next year when the price of fuel drops, not happening go now and enjoy the trip
