LOL. I wish. It’s actually our water storage. Three five gallon and a pony 2 1/2 gallon. They are connected to our compressor under the passenger seat. Daisy chained to our beer dispenser…errrr…water dispenser.

@Thebigboowah - Amazing build. Curious to know how much your rig weighs. What suspension are you running?
Don’t have the final biggest looser number just yet. Will update with final rolling number when we hit the scales in the next couple days. Pretty much have stayed stock. No lift. Added HD (not their max) Dobson springs, Summo Spring bump stop replacements, and Helwig sway bar. All helped stance and ride significantly.

Got around to trying this out. 52” light bar. Securing the brackets is a two person job, one on the outside with a wrench holding the bolt head, one on the inside with a couple long wobble extensions. Not too hard to reach though. Bright AF, and the location is actually perfect for a high light - nothing on the hood, and the shadow of the windshield falls in front of the grille where I can't see it. (I'm also planning to add low spots in the bumper for when I don't want a high light)

Also this finally happened today:

This is a shit design and breaking the four rivets that hold it in is inevitable. Only a few months for mine. I’m torn between designing and building a totally new bombproof system, maybe with a quick release for when I want the door to open 180 - or just drill the rivet holes larger for threaded rivnut inserts and be done

Not quite - looks like it only relocates the strap to a separate bracket. The gas strut still would anchor to the stock bracket. If I'd installed 813's bracket on day 1, maybe the rivets would never have fatigued out - but as it is, I need to repair or redesign the gas strut mount no matter what. (Or abandon it entirely and just bungee the door open 180)

Thank you!! My wife and I are hitting the road and living in our Gladiator full time. Will be departing tomorrow. Been working on this build for a while now. We think (and hope) we finally got “Stella” dialed in. Time will tell. Thanks again.
That is awesome. Where are you all headed first? Any international travel plans?

Thank you. We are headed out east to visit friends in and around DC. From there, we will be exploring the Appalachians. There are a couple of spots on the AT that I’m wanting to revisit and share with my wife. The barrier islands and Key West may be calling our name. From there we plan to work our way back west. Summer in Alaska sounds pretty awesome. Ultimately, we do see ourselves heading down the Pan American highway. So much to see between now and then! Thanks again. #geauxguru

That sounds awesome! I’m SO looking forward to see and meet like minded folks during our journey. I can’t tell you how many times we show and tell folks what our plans are…and they look at us like we are nuts. Especially, when I say that we plan on living in our jeep! The more you know, the less you need. Happy and safe travels!

Nice, if you make your way through Denver, let me know and I would love to see your rig up close. We are building ours for South America. We have already done the drive to Costa Rica and want to go further.

Will do. Funny enough…we just moved from Denver. Lived there for two years. In fact, the fine folks at Juniper installed our ACCC. We have some amazing friends in Golden. We use to frequent BV, Salida, and everywhere in between. Still working on my wife to buy and build a tiny house/off grid home base in Hartsel. Came very close to pulling the trigger. I love the open vastness with Mt. Princeton as a backdrop.

Would love to hear about your experiences driving south. We have watched Dirt Sunrise, Grow Old Later, and Hourless travels via youtube extensively. Got very inspired by their content. Looked at each other and said why not us. We’ve essentially traveled this way in many countries via Wicked Vans. Anything is an upgrade over a Wicked Van…LOL. We will be documenting our travels as well. #geauxguru. www.geaux.guru

I installed a 3 1/2 teraflex lift with 8 ir control arms. Installer said the teraflex rear springs were good but when we lowered the jeep the rear springs just do not seem to support the 6400 load weight properly. I still have a 1.5" sag. I am now waiting on dobson 3" hd 660 lbs coils. I have a sneaky feeling i will need the 800 to 1200 lbs springs.

On a side note, the falcon adjustable shocks on level 2/8 have eliminated vehicle side to side oscillation when on rough roads.
