  1. Jeep patents Gladiator tonneau cover that can fit / carry all the hardtop panels

A neat idea which will be great for some Gladiator owners.
  2. max tow

That's unlikely. The "Max Tow" package and the "Trailer Tow" package are similar but different. Regardless you'll be fine with just adding the Trailer Tow package on Mojave. It's not uncommon for a salesman to just say "max tow" or similar features when ordering for a customer that doesn't...
  3. max tow

Honestly, I'm dubious of that line item. If you look at the order sheet, nothing seems to be unique on the Max Tow regarding brakes.
  4. max tow

Max Tow is only available with the Sport. It has components designed to "maximize towing capacity" thus the name. Pulled from a Google search: 245/75R17 All-Terrain Tires 4:10 Axle Ratio (standard on Mojave/Rubicon) Heavy-Duty 4-Wheel Disc Anti-Lock Brakes Trac-Lok® Anti-Spin Rear Differential...
  5. Official: Hurricane Twin-Turbo 3.0 I-6 Coming for Jeep With Over 500 HP and 475 ft-lbs!

This is awesome/exciting news, but I'm still looking for a high performance PHEV or straight up electric more than a a straight gasser.
  6. Official: Hurricane Twin-Turbo 3.0 I-6 Coming for Jeep With Over 500 HP and 475 ft-lbs!

If they were ever going to put a hemi in the gladiator (which many think was the next big announcement) then this is certainly the more realistic reality. If they already said the engine bay won't accommodate the v8, it WILL accommodate this new engine.
  7. Parking Woes

If my wife were with me, I'd have just pulled forward 4 feet and she would have gotten in. This is a mountain out of a molehill.
  8. Sleeping in the bed under a cap, a project starts!

I have the same tent, I got it through Softopper which does include the poles you need. The Amazon version (not sure about the link from Black Widow) doesn't include poles, it just drapes over a the door that opens up.
  9. Jeep ceo…. Wants zero emission freedom brand

I see it as a win and look forward to a more powerful, electric based Jeep. I'm not afraid of change.
  10. 2021 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

They generally turn off the ability to order the previous year's model when they open up the order option for the new year. (Typically this is in July, but maybe things are running behind schedule for 2022.) If you can order 2022 then you cannot order 2021.
  11. Why did you/didn’t you lift your JT?

This is my position as well. I've already added the Falcon Piggyback shocks that will accommodate up to a 1.5" lift. I figure I fi Need to make room for 35s then I'll get spacer for the rear and I may get the 1" Synergy springs up front. That being said, I won't be getting bigger tires until I...
  12. Sleeping in the bed under a cap, a project starts!

Did you build that topper yourself?
  13. Sleeping in the bed under a cap, a project starts!

I'm not OP but I have a Softopper with the additional "tent attachment" that will extend coverage another 2' over the bed. I created some bed drawers that I then pull out to the end of the tailgate and plop an Exped MegaMat Duo on that which is just shy of of being a Queen bed. My wife hasn't...
  14. Mopar soft tonneau and bed rack

I completely agree. While I love the design of Dissent Offroad's racks... they only do Toyota and have no expected launch for a Gladiator version (They did a prototype a year ago, but have been too busy or short on materials since then.) The Xtrusion version is the next best thing and I LOVE...
  15. Mopar soft tonneau and bed rack

I only just learned about Xtrusion Overland but have been reading a ton today. Their rack definitely works with tonneau covers, you just use a wider install plate. Though they say that not all tonneaus will fit. I messaged them on their instagram and they responded pretty quick, so you might...
  16. Trim Levels, is it worth it?

True true, forgot to mention the beefed up frame... but I'm not taking a $45k+ vehicle and beating the shit out of it, so I'll be fine with my "regular" frame.
  17. Trim Levels, is it worth it?

You'll be happy (or frustrated) to hear that it's been proven time and again that the Rubicon doesn't make it hold resale any better than the other models. It's the entire line that has appeal. So... you don't have to buy one model just for that in the Gladiator line. Back to the main topic, I...
  18. Gas mileage is concerning..

But that's a diesel (unless JTRD means something else.)
  19. 2021 Gladiator Pricing Worksheet - Google Sheets

Well this is basically what I'm doing in the spreadsheet. Good eye on the Altitude/80th... that might make my work slightly easier.
  20. 2021 Gladiator Pricing Worksheet - Google Sheets

Yah, it also looks like the prices have gone up across the board... also the California Edition is gone and there is an Altitude Edition of the Sport. It'll take me a few days, i'm simplifying it (at least for the purpose of updating) so it'll be a bit less tedious to click through.
