Good call, I hadn't seen the new 2022 info was out so I'll grab it and see how long it takes me to get it all updated. There are too many stupid models of Gladiators now, so I should spend some time streamlining so its not so tedious to update.
Well I've spent enough time looking at all the different toppers that open into a wedge like this and realize that the thing that sets these apart from just a topper with rooftop tent is the ability to retire to the truck bed in inclement weather. With that being the defining factor, it sets the...
Thanks! The color is moot, my truck is Sting-gray and I'd be going with the matte black. Currently comparing them to the Fifteen52 Analog wheels which are $280 a pop and often hard to get.
Are those 17" wheels? or another size? I don't see Solids as an option that matches Gladiator when I search on the Black Rhino site.
Edit: I found them, can't find a price... what'd you pay and did you find a place online to buy them?
I just got back from Overland Expo Mountain West (the one in Colorado) and got to chat some with some of the guys that make or import some of these slide-in/toppers.
After talking at the GFC booth for a booth, both with a customer who's truck was there (a Tacoma long bed) and with Garrett (one...
While I imagine it'll be subtle at best... let us know if it feels any different. At least this helps me shift my mind away from installing Mojave springs... having to create mounting solutions already makes it trixy. I imagine I'll just go with the Synergy 1" coils and a 1/2" spacer when I am...
I like the idea of the Alucab Canopy Camper, but don't want to give up the truck part of the truck so had to scratch it off pretty quick. I'm sad that the Superpacific price creep has crept the way it has... there are apparently a lot of people out there with more fun money than I who help...
The question of "Is the High Altitude the best..." the short answer is "No." Don't get this model, thinking that it is in some way superior to others. Fundamentally, they're all the same. Some have different gearing that makes it more fuel efficient or tow better. Some will have suspension that...
I'll gladly take an electric truck over a bigger gas guzzler. I'm going to sit on my Max Tow until there is a hybrid or full electric version of a Mojave, then i'm upgrading to that vehicle.
My issue with my Gladiator was highway speed + curves or poor pavement quality. I haven't done my same mountain drive since upgrading to Teraflex Falcon piggyback shocks, but I'm optimistic that the quality will have improved. I also ordered a steering stabilizer from them, but they're...
This. I end up setting mine to 33-34... and when its a bit cool out, deal with the low tire warning. If I set it to 36 so it doesn't ever get down to "low tire warning" then it easily makes it to 40 on the highway.
How unfortunate that I have to babysit my tire pressure so I don't bounce off...
I set my own air after getting the Jeep home... but, long drives in the heat push that PSI up. Maybe I need to air up with nitrogen so there isn't a 3-6 psi difference based on temperature. Man, I hate that my tires creep up to 40 in the middle of a long drive. )c:
