@JeepCares I sent a PM over about the same thing yesterday. It is BS if these orders aren't getting addressed in the sequence which they are received. I'm fine with having to wait my turn and others who had their orders in before me should get priority before mine. Any other way is far too...
Looks like I spoke too soon, now I am being told end of October. Guess it will be dripping oil for another month? The hub, brakes, etc. will be well coated by then, already pretty slimy back there. Haven’t noticed any on the garage floor so the oil must be primarily coming out as I’m in motion.
Done, I agree that there should be a more formal approach to this as well. Whether they haven’t isolated the root cause(s) yet or they just aren’t saying, we all deserve a little more transparency, consistency, and assurance that the repair they are prescribing will fix the problem.
Checked with my dealer and supposedly the parts will be there next week, which would be approximately 1 month from when they were ordered. If indeed this happens I will view it as a win considering the supply chain nightmare we are all experiencing.
Mine is pretty much same except the middle # as well, my middle # is “053-1”. Also, there is a “WM” a little below the “REV A”.
For reference my MDH from the door jamb is “031512” and it is a Sport S Diesel. Not sure when it started leaking but since I became aware of it a few weeks ago I don’t...
Add me to the list as well, I have 2021 Sport S Diesel with the narrow 3.73 axles built late Feb / early Mar. They mentioned it when I had it serviced last week but weren’t specific about where exactly the leak was. Looked under there for myself and sure enough it matches exactly to some...
My thoughts exactly. For the premium price they charge, these caps/rings should be included in the kit. After all we are talking about a few $2 (probably wouldn’t even cost them that much buying large quantities) pieces of plastic that improve the finished look and save customers the hassle.
Since I removed them all from the old carpet, I did the ones under the seats as well, getting them off the old carpet is the hardest part. But since you can’t see them at all under there it was definitely overkill. If I were to do it over I wouldn’t have bothered with them.
I reused all of the snaps, there is really no functional benefit (as you can probably tell, the flooring won’t move around regardless) but IMO it looks much cleaner and more OEM with the snap rings installed.
Removing them from the old carpet is a bitch, the front and back sides snap together...
This thread and specifically your post was very helpful to me when I went in for my first Jeep Wave oil change. Upon dropping off, told them I wanted proof that they were using a MS-12991 spec oil. They brought out a bottle of the Mopar Maxpro, made me feel much better about it.
I changed it at...
Took the family for a 1,500 mile road trip around the Great Lakes. Was towing a Rockwood Roo 23SS with a dry weight of around 4,000 lbs, probably near 4,500 fully loaded. I have a Sport S EcoDiesel with Rubi sized tires (285/70 R17 BFG KO2) and used an Anderson weight distribution hitch, which...
I’ve ridden this way at freeway speeds many times with no issues. The corner closeouts feel solid to me with or without the rear window panel. Given that they aren’t mechanically fastened I suppose there is some risk, but IMO it is minimal considering the way they are connected to other secure...
After 3k miles I am at 24mpg hand calculated at a roughly 50/50 split between city and highway, haven’t really towed or hauled much yet, but performance is pretty much as advertised so far. Also, I don’t drive like a grandma and don’t actively worry about fuel economy.
I had a gas Pacifica with...
The fine print on mine read as follows:
“Not available to the general public. Valid for the person named on certificate and transferrable only to immediate family members within the same household (requires proof of address via government-issued identification). Certificate must be presented to...
Setting aside the aesthetics, since this is supposed to be a "Pro Performance" grill; I wonder if the total open airway in front of the radiator is that much larger than the JT Sport (one without extra accent trim) stock grill?
Even removing the honycomb backer from this hexagon grill, I doubt...
You should be able to use it with whichever dealer you want within the window of time specified on the mailer or email, around 30-60 days from the ones I have received; also timing is based on taking retail delivery so factory orders can be tricky as you may run out of time before the unit is...
Yes, if it rains into your Jeep, water can get under Armorlite. It is not 100% waterproof as there are seams and uncovered areas under the front and back seats. However, for all the crap that comes off your feet (dirt or moisture) in the floor wells, Armorlite offers much better protection than...
