Just took my 2021 jeep gladiator willys for an oil change and first service just got a call stating the rear axle seal is leaking on the passenger rear told me they don't have a specialist in today to look at it and soonest apt to get it fixed would be end of October... Jeep had 5600 miles on it and was going in Monday to get the lift kit installed.
We're sorry to hear you're seeing a leak as well, Flipn the bird racing. Send us a private message closer to your appointment date if you need assistance.

Well looks like I'm in the pool too of leaking axle seals. Surprised they didn't catch it yesterday when I went in for my first oil change and tire rotation. Right rear just like everyone else.

Bet it was built in Spring. Sorry to hear you've joined our club. @JeepCares How do we contact Jeep Technical Service about a TSB?
Hi, Jeep_willysJT. We recommend visiting your preferred dealer to speak with a technician. We do not have information we can provide for our internal engineers.

Checked with my dealership service department after my confirmed leak last week. Tentative date of 11/10 for axle delivery, but the parts guy didn't sound very confident. Just what I wanted for my first ever brand new car ?

Just got back from dealer. All the service supervisor did was look at my pictures I took and said "yep got an oil seal leaking" We'll get a new one on order for you. Said he'll give me a call and let me know when it's in.

Thank you @JeepCares, so far so good. The guys and gals at North Point CJD in Winston Salem NC are rockstars. They have contacted me this afternoon and should have me a rental car lined up for this evening as mine is un-driveable. Hopefully they keep up with thier exceptional customer service

**UPDATE** Dealer said parts are on backorder, my "truck is not drivable and will be sitting at the dealership for a long time", to quote the service manager. Said they have to get approval from FCA for me to have a loaner car because of the length of time that i will need it. All repairs will be covered under the warranty.

It's crazy how this is being handled by Jeep. They need to issue a TSB spelling out what should be done instead of all these different responses folks are getting. And if a final solution is different then put out another TSB.

Honestly other than the leaking seal and being with out my truck for a unknown length of time, I can't complain. As of this morning they have no loaners available. It's not the dealerships fault and they have been more than helpful throughout this, so I can't complain, especially after reading the horror stories on here that people have dealt with at their dealership

Got the awesome news that my axle showed up today at the dealership. Three weeks to the date. I'll be getting my Gladiator back next week. After having the new Jeep GCL Laredo for a few weeks she wants one for our family car. We enjoyed it as a loaner.

I would like someone to tell me how yall are getting your axles 3-4 weeks after they order them? I am on over 2 months now waiting for an axle to show up. @JeepCares any insight on this??? Why am I getting screwed over on my axle repair??? Just got another call today saying that it is now showing week of 10/18 to show up. Damn thing has been in the shop longer than I've actually driven the thing!!!! What the hell is going on? FFS

@JeepCares I sent a PM over about the same thing yesterday. It is BS if these orders aren't getting addressed in the sequence which they are received. I'm fine with having to wait my turn and others who had their orders in before me should get priority before mine. Any other way is far too subjective to be fair.

Apparently and unfortunately so. Based on that logic, I and everyone else with this issue should immediately go demand a loaner, which I definitely would have already if I had been told it was not safely "driveable". However, I was told there was no real risk of further damage still driving it and I have not noticed an appreciable change in the leak rate or driving characteristics.

Not to mention that I don't really want any other vehicle for an extended period of time, my dealership doesn't have any Diesel Gladiators with a soft top sitting around and even if they did mine is now set up almost exactly how I want it.
