Took 3 grandsons camping at Lake Skinner
the stuff memories are made of
Had a nice trip to see if they were ready for a week long desert trip.
only the one on the right is. The two on the left not yet.
the one on the right is a motor head and will spend hour upon hour on his dirt bike...
I have to say that for all intents and purposes that you are right. My thought on that post was to start with a solid foundation and build on that.
I bought a Mojave for that very reason. Many times when I’ve bought something, a house for instance, I had plans to do upgrades and never did them...
Give me a good quality solid foundation that I can build what I want onto. The 3rd party market for Jeeps is big enough to support it.
I suppose the question would be how many customers would want that kind of product to support sales.
I'm going to try and get the time to install my VoSwitch tomorrow so I can power up my new fog lights. I need to do some other rearranging with my factory switches to make room.
I've been wondering about this myself.
When we're out wheeling I get some creaking on the heavier articulation and wanted to look underneath to see if I could find the source and also if there was anything that needed greasing.
I also hear that same creaking from other vehicles on the trail.

I thought that fire was close to your house. I have a cab cover for mine for if I ever get to taking the doors off. As hot as it is and as short as my time is I haven't got there yet but I hope to get to it soon.
Popped that factory bracket right off.
We were warned about that by @mx5red so I added those proactively. I probably would have broken mine already with some of the boulders I've been playing on.
One issue I see with these is that they are body mounts instead of the frame mounts that are needed for solid rock sliders that will support the vehicle on boulders. There are others out there with the same construction and when shopping for good sliders I look for frame mounts. Good ones are...
Thanks for the review.
I quit using the Jeep navigation after comparing to my Iphone and other third party mapping and offroad software because it wasn't as good as the others and would send me on strange out of the way detours. I keep getting the offers to update but ignore them.
There are fire roads that are basically dirt roads and sxs and two wheel trails in between so it would be hard to monitor all of it compared to just shutting it down.
You should go out there sometime. The trails and campsites are pretty nice and the two mentioned are BOH trails so you get...
Amazingly enough I don't see anything on watch duty in the coastal range. Everything is in central and east of there and more in south central Oregon than other areas.
We’ll be hitting Tillamook again if we go up there next spring as planned.
Looks like you got some good weather. Those tree roots on the trail are slippery enough without rain.
I did those two in late April. We had great weather. Sunny and about 75 degrees. We were able to keep the windows down the whole trip. A few days later it rained cats and dogs for the rest of...
