Mine is my daily driver and my only, during certain times of year. It really will not be the most convenient of situation for me to go without and I do not do my own work of the sort.
Thanks though
OK. I ordered mine and it certainly would be easier to list what I did not include in that process. I am guilty of adding, what I feel it a lot of [subtleties] myself, but reading “8K” just slapped me in the face. That’s all. I did not mean anything more than just that.
✌️?
White Knuckle Offroad with full top plates and I had them Line-Xd. Frame mounted. They can be ordered for with or without Rubicon rails. With makes for great foot kick protection. Without does not hide the pinch seam and additional clearance is only slight.
I have got a long way to go, but I am just thinking/planning ahead…
What are people thinking/planning to do, when it comes time to service our Fox suspension?!? Apparently, at 50,000 miles.
Buying someone else’s take-offs (to have rebuilt)? Swapping out brands?? Has Fox come up with an...
Dropped off Sunday evening/Picked up yesterday… “TO/FOR?!?” IDK
Since picking up an ordered by me Mojave at the end of May and putting on its current 6K miles (first Jeep), I finally got it ceramic coated. Opti-Coat Pro Plus (2 layer-7 year warranty) and had everything else underneath done...
Dman it! Now, I wish I had gone orange, but like the Limitless Parts “GLADIATOR” tailgate badge, I was afraid it would match only “close enough,” but not enough to not notice it.
Oh… I ended up with a satin black on glass black “GLADIATOR” tailgate badge, after pulling off the LP’s gray and...
That’s how to haul a set of 5 tires (on wheels) in a Gladiator. Hah! Firestone shop only 7 miles away and a 2-lane road to get there.
Had to get this online Trailbuilt OffRoad/Custom Offsets package order’s TPMS sensors swapped for Mopar.
TBOR’s chosen TPMS would not work. Apparently...
How well does the orange match the Mojave’s accents?!? Immediately upon receiving my tracking information, for an ordered black one, they “updated” the orange. Like just within the last week or maybe two.
Ah yes… October 24th.
Wider is worse on slippery surfaces. Watch the video, I shared above. Well, unless you prefer fashion over function. You did ask about snow specifically…
Generally speaking and for the most part, these forums are all the same really… people will ignore the facts to simply look cool...
I opted for;
Kenda Klever R/T - 35x10.5x17 for a dedicated summer set.
Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 255/85R17 (35x10x17) for a dedicated winter set.
First Jeep self ordered by me March 12th. and purchased May 27th. Happy with the Kenda & their nearly 5,000 miles and the Mickeys with only a...
There it is 255/85 vs 255/80. That’s all.
For me… larger diameter not only look better, but also offer additional ground clearance and just don’t care for tire width.
I do not have issue with stock Mojave gearing and these. Plus, they're taller/narrower than said stock Mojave tires.
Yes, had I inserted “deep” following “OFFROAD”… and before “snow”…
Basically the same principle(s) as with varying mud conditions;
If there is traction needing to be reached… narrow.
If one needs to stay on top… wide.
I get it. I do.
Mornings before coffee are not my strong suit...
