  1. TIL: Traction control works off-road, even in a Rubicon!

Trust me most of my Wheeling is solo so that makes me a tiptoe through the tulips kind of Jeeper myself.
  2. TIL: Traction control works off-road, even in a Rubicon!

You're not trying hard enough, LOL.
  3. What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

Caught up with you there the other day while pulling out a stuck truck at the beach. "Waves and waves of sand" is right, lol.
  4. TIL: Traction control works off-road, even in a Rubicon!

I've always kept it off because besides being able to direct power to the wheels it governs the throttle, and who wants their throttle governed when you got 500lbft of torque at your disposal. But I hit up my favorite off-road getaway yesterday and an interesting thing happened: If you've...
  5. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Took a nice afternoon evening drive and chased the setting sun through my favorite pigpen: Richloam WMA. Given a hurricane had just rolled by I was surprised the water had receeded some since I was there a couple weeks ago. Seen a few of these new cuties under the powerlines and their freshly...
  6. Reverse Up Incline

Been more than one time when recovering a stuck vehicle at the beach and dug myself down a bit in all 4 corners with a taught kinetic rope, that I could barely reverse enough to take the slack out of the strap, and that in 4L. It feels like the engine is fighting a trans brake in that scenario.
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Can't go wrong w bronze wheels. Not as glamorous but I gave my undercarriage a good scrubbing.
  8. Tire fill alert... HOW??

I carry the M18 compressor with me. Saw a shootout on YouTube between the compressor and the inflator. I can't remember which won but they're both pretty slow. Had to air down at the beach this weekend to yank out an F-350 and it took quite a long time to air back up, ntm sucks though almost 1½...
  9. Stock Brake Pad Life Expectancy?

If there's been one thing I've been impressed with in this truck it's been the brakes/ rotors. 34k and through a couple sandy, muddy swamps:
  10. Black Friday Deals

Love it and it works well for me. Does everything I ask I it to. Mind you it's an F-250 Adarac to which I had to trim the uprights, then bolted to a Tacoma Softopper.
  11. Jeep Vanity Plates

    If you ask why:
  12. Swapping LCA as a novice

Don't do this. From my understanding the bushings are to be set at ride height.
  13. Evo 4.5HD Rear Springs

Now we know why Evo is adamantly opposed to publishing their spring rates.
  14. Anyone with the BFG KO2 39x13.5r17?

Well you're already gonna look like an idiot driving down the road with a 40 on one side and a 37 on the other.
  15. Going 40s... New concerns...

    Talking about the EcoD.
  16. Going 40s... New concerns...

When the tires were put on we put 37 psi. The tread pattern showed it could use more so yesterday went to 40psi up front and 38 in an empty bed. Milestar Pats M/T 02. Ride wasn't terrible before, but has smoothed out significantly. I don't know if I'll keep it this way and risk wearing the...
  17. Anyone with the BFG KO2 39x13.5r17?

Can the fad be disabled by unplugging it?
  18. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

I got a husky when the kids were little. Once he got past 3 or so his need for exercise plummeted. Dakota made it a few weeks shy of 16 years on cheap dry dog food, less than four or five trips to the vet, and a lot of love from my girls. They are not loyal or very affectionate. (Of course that...
