That’s a good idea, 33s and 4.10s are a little taller than 35s and 4.56s gears but should be pretty close due to the 35s generally being a little heavier than the stock 33s.
My understanding is the rubber bushings in the control arms have enough range of motion to move through the suspension travel but should be torqued at where they sit at rest with weight on the vehicle as the bushings don’t really spin, the range is provided by the rubber flexing.
What do you base that on? The Mopar arms are included with the Mopar lift and are designed to restore the factory caster that is reduced from the lift, adding another 1.5” of lift puts it out of spec. I could notice a difference in handling from just a 1.5” spacer with oem springs, the Mopar...
Spacers require the same amount of work to install as a lift, you will still need to loosen the control arms and retorque them as they will be in a different position after the spacers are installed. If you are going to install the Mopar lift with a 1.5” spacer your caster will be very low as...
Cool, I have been reading reviews of that bike, looks great, funny as I get older I want lighter nimbler bikes, went from a WR426 to the WR250f, I also like the look of the YZ125x
Doubt you will see any difference in weld quality or rusting issues between the JL and JT. As for the strengthened frame, it has some additional welding in a few areas, doubt it really makes any difference at all.
Rubicon or max tow package on a Sport or Sport S so you have the 4.10 gears, Rubicon has lockers max tow has Trac Lok rear differential. That said I would get a 2 door JL for plowing residential, the long wheelbase of the JT does not help with plowing. Guy near me plows driveways he has two 2...
I have a place in Maine with a 1/3 of a mile dirt road in, I have only resurfaced it once in the last 10 years. Had a guy bring in a big machine and 80 yards of lint pack, cost around $2500, had held up very well, will be doing it again this year. Also have it plowed every time there is plowable...
Wiping it with anything other than a clean microfiber with some type of plastic cleaner will often result in scratches. I use Novus 1 for day to day an if needed Novus 2, stuff works great.
I sprayed it everywhere pretty much, especially bare metal and fasteners, I did not spray the exhaust on purpose a little overspray got on it spraying things around it. I also dropped the spare, sprayed the wheel both sides and the area it sit in when it is raised up. Under the hood I sprayed...
Check Lowes near where you are picking it up, my Lowes had it for $10 a can, I sprayed 4 cans on mine, I have heard it is pretty inert but I would wear a mask and rubber gloves, it is also safe to get on plastic and rubber. I got some on the exhaust and I could smell it for a few days until it...
Will your 392 have the metal front bumper? If so you can get the Mopar bumper hoop which has tabs you can mount two lights on, if you have the factory aux switches wiring is very easy as well.
