Hooked up some recovery gear, did the first tension on the winch.
About 5 clicks on the Ebrake, and started running it about 4 wraps into the first layer. I'm used to running tuggers and managing rope on a capstan. So I just guided the rope as I wound it up. Heck, I even whipped my winch...
Ran out the winch, got the first tension on it, tested out some of my recovery gear. Ran the ebrake about 5 clicks to get some load on the jeep.
Excited to actually run it in the wild.
Teraflex is pretty amazing. Fit and finish is spot on, proper hardware choices, fantastic instructions with diagrams, tool sizes, and torque specs throughout the entire document! 11 pages worth!
I installed it the wrong way. I didnt loosen up all the Control arms bolts and retorque them with...
Rockhard 4x4 LCA skids and rear shock skids.
Worst instructions ever. Product fit great, hardware kinda poo poo.
I took pictures of how I assembled it, for reference.
Laughed at their 100 ft/lbs torque spec, and went with a more realistic 175 ft/lbs.
The skids are in fact side specific...
Some Badlands Apex, Rugged Ridge Arcus install notes and wiring thoughts.
Last pics are a butyl putty I used to seal the positive lead into the Winch.
Also, I just took a Q tip in motor oil and swabbed down my ARP Hardware to prevent rust until I decide what Im going to do, lol
Teraflex 1.5" level lift
Also Rockhard 4x4 skids. Not a great install. I'll load all that up in my build thread later today. Not happy with Rockhard's instructions or hardware.
