Thank you very much for the help! So, if I want to search online for wheels that will work with my Mojave, what should I put in the Google search bar? Should I search for: "17" wheels with -44 offset"? Because that comes up empty. I know I need a 5x5 bolt pattern. I understand wheel width. But...
I just want to buy different wheels for my soon-to-be-delivered Mojave. I understand Mojave's have a different offset than other Glads to accommodate the wider shocks. I've read other threads on this forum that cover this topic, but I still am confused. Just for example, there is this formula...
Man, do I dislike the factory wheels that come with the Sport S. Could FCA have designed a more bland, soulless design? But those new wheels are awesome! What a great looking Jeep! Thanks for sharing the photos and congrats on the Sarge Glad!
I worked with Stan (in sales). We ended up at 7% off MSRP (not invoice) on a special order Mojave. Could have gotten more off a Sport because there was a $1,500 manufacturer discount/incentive on Sports and Overlanders but no manufacturer help on Mojaves. Easy to work with.
Have you considered special ordering exactly what you want instead of buying what is on lots? I just special ordered last week. Sucks to wait a few months for delivery, but I (like you) have been waiting and preparing to buy for a long time. You can get good deals when special ordering (check...
My Mojave is on order and I will swap the hood immediately for a Sport hood. Mojave hood has fake vent, weighs a ton more (how much more, I am not sure - can't find exact info), impedes vision more, and I prefer a more clean, classic Jeep hood look. I'd rather lose hood weight when I add winch &...
Just ordered my Mojave last week - with the non-premium soft top only. I went with the cheaper option because I'm gambling the aftermarket or Bestop of Jeep will be coming out with a tan color option soon (I hope) or solve the man bun issue so I can replace the soft top with one I want more.
I just ordered a Mojave from Tubb's Brothers in Sandusky, MI. Got a near-Gupton, below-invoice price and could buy locally. They are a 1.5 hour drive for me (I pass several Jeeps dealers to get to Tubb's Brothers), but the price and great no-bs customer service is worth it. I have bought my last...
Check out the Rugged Ridge Arcus front bumper. Lightweight, stamped steel. Comes with low-riding winch plate that really integrates the low winch unobtrusively. And its on sale at their website for $399 (well, $499, but you get a $100 pre-paid Mastercard gift card). It IS a stubby, though. But I...
Oilburner, if I choose the Mojave, the hood will be swapped out for a Sport hood. I understand the aesthetic appeal of the Mojave hood, but I just can't stand fake vents. I imagine you are right that wheels and tires will play a huge role in ride quality.
I believe "the entire industry" is not having one of its strongest second halves. The industry has rebounded well from the early-year pandemic freeze and is selling vehicles with higher prices and, thus, profits, but is overall down from last year. At least that is what is being reported so far...
I'm totally with you, Rex3rd! Been following the JT since even before its official release, Stalked this forum. Watched a million YouTube vids. Spent time saving $$$. This is the year! Gonna buy in next few months and am deciding between Mojave and totally base base Sport. Leaning to Base Sport...
