The general bulk of the 3 Ton Badlands is really my only complaint as well. I have taken it on trails, but it's not something I would keep on the truck or trailer. Which means it gets relegated to the shop and inevitably forgotten for weekend trips. This new one solves that issue. I just grabbed...
Could probably just call them, I suppose. They texted me right after the order to verify that I actually wanted 37's.
Although, now that I look at that picture, it also lists an Instant Rebate that wasn't offered to me so who knows. The only rebates I have access to are $100 after providing...
On my Stinger Horizon 10 headunit, when listening to Sirius XM, OTA radio (or really any source/screen that's not AA or Carplay), the separate GPS antenna provides the current time, onscreen lat/longitude, and compass heading direction. Initially, I didn't install the antenna because it wasn't...
In the current truck.....manual gasser.....I'd be hard-pressed to even tell you what the red line is. Other than (maybe) on trails and in 4 low, I couldn't honestly attest to ever having it above 5k for any length of time. In any scenario, towing or not. Our old mountain roads may not be the...
I suppose this makes sense. I am also not versed in the ins/outs of manufacturing at that large a scale. Maybe it's just my wishful thinking to believe that the costs (both direct and indirect, and both in terms of pure monetary expense and brand image) associated with researching, developing...
Same. The majority of my current vehicles are solid axle now that I think about it.
Why though? What about producing this vehicle in it's current solid axle platform (that has been proven and tested for decades) is prohibitively more expensive than redesigning it and then shoehorning an IFS...
I have heard this a couple of times, but I genuinely don't understand the reasoning. Is there something about switching production to IFS on a vehicle that literally has solid axles as a defining feature since it's inception that makes that option more attractive to Jeep in terms of pure sales...
I had a diesel Gladiator, it was great. No issues at all. So I sold it and bought this truck with the 3.6. Decided I wanted to row gears. Still love it. Still no issues. People can want different things out of their vehicles.
True. I disagree with the politics, taxation, and prices here in East Tennessee but love living here just the same. That said, I should probably clarify that I am a California transplant and also disagreed with those same things while there.
Turns out I just don't like drama and/or paying for...
Last week I had the Tazer disconnected for other unrelated reasons. No doors, no top while driving through the mountains on the way to some clients in Gatlinburg. As I was leaving the first stop, I got distracted by an old FJ in a parking lot. I started chatting up the guy who got out of it from...
Haven't heard of either of those, but most of these devices simply allow the truck to retain/remember the state of the ESS between drives. Not a lot of room for the "best" or "worst" conversation there. Just go with the simplest, cheapest option if the ESS functionality is all you're concerned with.
That whole door panel looks redesigned unless I have missed that over the last couple years. The lift points at the bottom would be way more useful for me than the "quick release" door pin.
Not trying to start an argument, but since I actually have no clue.....how many of those sales are from places that have little to no ability to sell a version OTHER than the 4xe?
I initially misunderstood the design and thought this changed what was visible externally while the doors were on. Now that I see what it actually is....I also don't think I would care about the color. I'd just get black. But it also doesn't seem all that useful for my purpose now that I see it...
