Threw some cube lights on my Arcus. Like everything I do, only once done do I realize I’d have done it different. Placed them in all different spots and stepped back. Took photos and analyzed the placement, then analyzed again. Decided I wanted them far outboard for more dispersion and to avoid...
That’s a great deal, congrats. Mine is nearly an identical build, fully loaded with every option minus smoker package and aux switches. Paid $50 for mine as well.
Thanks! Just a regular matte. Did multiple very light coats. I own an airbrush but years ago had a body man teach me the art of a spray bomb. Said for small projects there is not a reason in the world to bring out the equipment.
Best part is it’s removable. Looks good as is, but should I choose...
Basic primer and “bumper” paint from a rattle can. 4 light coats. Called them and was given a perfect match. Message me if you want exact paint brand etc.
Finished up my front bumper swap from rough country to this Arcus. May never do a winch and as most know, it’s looks pretty awful with a HUGE gaping winch opening. Fabricated a simple diamond plate cover which ended up looking pretty normal. Have some 4” lights coming today I’ll mount to the...
If I had another vehicle to drive it could sweeten the pot. The next issue is all my mods and no OEM stuff to replace with. I’d need to post one of those “your OEM parts plus cash” firesales to try to save some stuff. Aside from wheels and tires, the rest of the stuff is “cheap” it’s the...
I park my jeep at the airport for days at a time and never lock it.
Short story- buddy had a sedan with a small dash cubby under the radio he kept some loose change in. They broke his window and ripped out the cubby breaking some trim pieces and got his $4.00. With a $1k deductible it cost him...
Do one or the other. The bracket is solid though and works great with the OEM bar. An adjustable will look cooler, not need an additional bracket, and have more detailed adjustment however. Both would get the job done.
Not sure if it applies, but they took good care of me with the military discount. Love their 2.5 as it’s a true 2.5…or more. It’s 3.5 in the front and 2.5 in the back. Any more and honestly I think you’d need 37s just because it wouldn’t look right.
This is basically me. We have a camp in Maine that has 1.5 miles of unmaintained logging road. Even though any suv could make it down (with some bottom scrapes) I use the road to justify every single mod I do.
I want to do this and priced out a loaded diesel rubicon. My issue is that I sold my aftermarket stuff so I’d need a little bit of a leap of faith. I’d need to order the new one, then swap all my parts over with my current, then sell my current one with rubicon takeoffs. This plan would...
Started the process to fabricate a winch delete plate for the arcus bumper. Paint coat number 2 is drying currently. Just got called into work though for 4 days of travel so won’t install until Wednesday. I still may add a winch, but I know with 99% certainty it would be a purely cosmetic piece...
@19Delta
Looks like the “limitless” one. Google it and it’ll show up for sure.
If you want one to exactly match the Mojave message @Urban Jeep Outfitters
Completely agree. Isn’t even a debate for me on do it vs do not re gear. Just want to make sure when I do it, I pick the absolute best possible range.
The wild card for me is 37s. When my 35s wear out I’d like 37s purely for the look. Hoping since my new Baja boss say that last around 60k...
