Just had a thought as I’m looking to add some single pod lights to my cowl corner area.
How noisy are they on the highway? Asking because I had roof bars on this weekend and it was a noticeable wind noise increase. Just curious if you notice the pods.
They are awesome. Honestly the best tire I’ve used yet. Because it’s my daily driver, how quiet they are is the best part…..but they are heavy and I’ll be doing a re gear in the spring. In the northeast though that job starts at $2500. Will give me a good reason to get 37s though.
@Threedom
Thought you’d like to know that you got me with an IG ad. Saw one for the key hole cover and ordered the USMC one.
Bonus was “Amazon pay.” That’ll get buried so deep the wife will never see it.
1: didn’t like how our snow gear took up so much space. $20 later and we’ve got a nice solution.
I’m also big into fitness so have been trying to track down an affordable rower for years. Finally found this for near nothing with a dead monitor. Replaced/upgraded that along with shock cord...
I just posted about this exact thing. Got a used 35x12.50x17 on eBay for under $90 shipped to my door. Town fair mounted and balanced it on the factory spare for $19. Tucked it right under the bed no issue.
Update: used these:

That’s a great look(ing) truck. Thanks for the double photos. The top one is too much rake for my taste, but the bottom photo looks just right. They are cheap enough (at this point) since I have all the other things minus springs. I’ll sit on it for a few and maybe make the order.
For once…I’m going to leave it be for a little bit. I may end up heading this route though mostly because a: I like the idea of another 1/2” clearance and b: like the idea of spring continuity front to back. For b: doubt that even really matters, but why not.
Went from AEV spacer lift to now...
Good tip that I fortunately caught through YouTube university. Was able to drop the axle without touching LCAs which was a bonus. Also because 190 FtLbs under a truck in my back is awful. Just needed to worry about sway bar links, track bar, and shocks.
Thanks again!
@tommyp and others. A quick follow up.
Ended up taking your advice and it was spot on. Pulled the OEM springs, AEV spacer, and shock extensions. Replaced with longer shocks and Clayton springs. Brought me up almost 2” in the front and measuring off the bottom of the body seam is 1/2” of rake...
Finally put it on today. Was a really quick project and I already had tires pulled for shock change. Watch their video, although it’s not necessary. Instructions are clear and concise. Leave everything as loose as you can until you’re able to get all the necessary bolts started. It came with all...
