I like it. Use mine all winter once I put my hard top back on. It is however noisier for sure than the well insulated freedom panels. Feels very open and bright all winter with it on so it’s worth it to me.

Thank you. I’ll reach out via message once she picks out a set. I went direct last time and they were generous enough to provide 10% for mil which was much appreciated.
Those do look sharp. Appreciate the real world review as well because for whatever reason that’s one brand I’ve always lumped in with the likes of NFab.
I’ve got the exact same step (in slim) on my truck after tossing the NFab. Agree completely with your assessment. They have a traditional tube style dual step my wife may like.
Question- they don’t offer it in bed liner which I have, it’s textured black powder coat only. Any idea how their...
Piggybacking off my own JUNK thread, looking for quality brands for my wife’s 22’ Wrangler.
She really liked my NFab steps so we put a set on hers as well. Mine were trash so sent them back to NFab. Hers are showing signs of imminent corrosion after 3 months so not waiting.
I’ve got GoRhino...
Ha! I see it a lot in my industry.
“The crew elected to divert to XYZ out of an abundance of caution.”
No Karen, they elected to divert because they had one engine. And it was on fire.
I believe I paid around $2300 in the northeast.
side note: prior to regear I was (still am) lifted on 35s. I towed my landscape trailer empty mostly freeway and relatively flat for a 2 hour round trip. Youd think I had been towing the dang titanic. What a miserable experience.
today I towed...
Update:
I’ve now put a few nails off to the side of my driveway out of the way where only I know where they are. I use that route daily in the hopes of running one over with the wife.
“oh damn! I can’t replace a single tire because of the wear pattern, THINK OF THE CHILDREN! Gotta order 4 new...
Exactly why I have core 4x4 control arms all around as well as track bars. It’s for the kids, keeps the kids safe. Theyre orange like my other accents as it makes the truck more visible and safe.
Mine aren’t there…yet. I had a plan for that however.
Wanted Falcon or King but bought these. When these rust I will tell my wife they are unsafe and how I can’t believe it happened. Will tell her I wish I had bought a higher quality shock from the beginning. Boom, Kings.
I agree. I partly blame mega sites like extreme terrain (who own about a dozen others.) You go on a site of theirs and search steps and NFab is always on top as seller and ratings. Easy to be fooled into believing you can’t go wrong. Hell, you get them and they are solid, easy to mount, look...
<rant on>
Not that it stops me from “upgrading” my truck, but man- everything I order seems to be JUNK.
Wish more companies could be like my gorhino steps with bedliner finish. They costs a few $$ more than the usual suspects, but look like they are as solid as the work you’d expect from linex...
Yes, trash.
I had their steps on my truck from around November till now and they are rusting. Luckily they have a warranty. Reached out and sent them back for a refund.
3 Months after mine (before rust) I bought a different set for my wife’s JL, rusting too. Pulling those too for a refund...
