%100 understand, id do the same for my wifes jeep. No matter how good quality the used may be, hers always gets new when its time. pass it along though! perhaps someone you know is looking for a deal ?
5,000ish, if memory serves thats what the guy I got them from told me. They came off a bronco when hey put some asinine mud hogs or some such on there. I can get tread depth measurements for you when I get home. i just need to try and find my tire depth gauge.
275/65/18 Goodyear Forterra HT
1,500 miles on them, theyre pretty much brand new
$500
No patches, no plugs, no problems. I took them of my Ram because I wanted Michellins
255/75/17 Bridgestone Dueler AT tires
lightly used, these only saw highway miles and I never use them to tow. They have no patches and no plugs..
I think these tires get a bad name from a lot of people and it’s definitely not deserved. I ran the OEM set and then a set the same size as these...
fwiw I had the OEM bed liner in my 2020 and used the heck out of it without any issues. Not sure how hard you're beating up the liner but I never had an issue with mine. I have the linex liner in my ram now and the only difference I can see so far is the OEM liner was more grippy than the linex.
It’s likely the tire size / weight / tread pattern that is getting you in 7th. Also the speed. Over 65mph the Jt takes a huge aerodynamic hit and it really drags bad. especially if you’re running 3.73 gears with 35’s.
