I just put on the below tires after moving from the Wildpeaks. So far they have been fantastic with a few thousand miles on them. They are not true 34's though as they measure out at around 33.5 which is close enough. I have not had any drop in MPG but they are much quieter than the Wildpeaks. I...
I had a local shop install my bumper and winch. I would have liked to have done it but my hand strength, etc are not what they use to be from arthritis and I guess just getting older.
Congratulations and enjoy that full size truck. I test drove something similar to that a few months back and man it was hard not to pull the trigger. The room and ride made it tough.
Not my thing but its cool if others go for it. I have my hulu girl who dances on my dash dailing. She has been with me now for like 10 years. She's a white girl now and not a tanned native islander any longer
Jeep didn't like it as there were many features that were kind of knock off of Jeep so Jeep/Fiat took and kept them in court basically trying to shut them down from selling the Roxor. Mohindra almost threw in the towel but won some legal battles in court and can now sell the newely revamped...
Haha man I feel where your coming from. I did a test drive on new Ram 1500 and it was hard not making a deal but the financing and moving back into a full size were against it.
Looks like a very nice truck you got. Hey you tried the Glad and it was not a fit for you right now. There are many times I get the pull to go back into the Ram 1500 based on what I am doing. But damn every time I take the top off or the doors off I get pulled right back to the Gladiator (LOL)
Yes indeed my wife has a Toyota Highlander and the tech in that thing is pitiful. ITs shocking that a car in today's market that can cost what Highlanders cost could have such unfriendly user tech. I've told her to look into something else but she just hates dealing with car dealerships.
Ha man the dealership I bought my truck from did everything they could to pull one fast one after the other. They did get me on the warranty in a clever way when dealing with all the paper work by having their warranty instead of the Mopar Warranty. When discussing the warranty I had assumed it...
Just my opinion after using the Tazer for a number of things if you can find an option that is simpler and does not require all the marrying/unmarrying and 100 steering wheel inputs go that route. The Tazer though can allow you to do many, many things. So if your just looking for one or two...
I just got back from a trip and ran the tires at 34 cold. The tires ran very good at that PSI so will leave it like that for now. May tinker with them here and there just to see some options. At 60 MPH it was getting around 20 MPG. When I kicked it up to 70 it dropped off to about 19 MPG on the...
Dang I gotta be the only one who got denied by DT. I had to get the butthead manager. If your ever in Katy, Tx never use Discount Tire at the Katy Mills Market Street Location
Joe was very helpful in my search and ordering new tires but unfortunatly I got no love from the Katy Mills Discount Tire shop Manager as they did not seem to want anything to do with matching the Mopar offer.
I just did a drive around and used Waze and the Radar. Seems at current 34 PSI my speedo is 2 MPH lower than Waze and the Radar. Will go into the settings this evening and adjust with Tazer and see if I can get it a bit tighter
I'll look at the speedo some more this evening along with Waze. Yesterday I just ran it against the radar by my house. Guess I will have to find the sweet spot with these new Toyo's and the PSI to run them. Maybe 34 is going to be it.
I did a tire calculator deal to get an idea and below is...
Toyo didn’t really give any information on what PSI to run them at from what I saw other than max was 65 psi. The wild peaks seemed to run best for me at 36-37 psi. Jeep dealership had them at 41 but I dropped them down as it was not handling well at 41 psi. Since these tires are similar in size...
Oh a thought just crossed my mind and wonder if it makes a difference. I rant the Wildpeaks at 37 psi and had asked Discount Tire to set the new Toyo 34's at 37 but when I checked the tires were all set to either 34 or35 psi. I think tomorrow I will bring them to 37 and then check the speedo again
I just put new tires on Toyo 34's and had Falken Wildpeak 33's on before. When I used the Tazer to set the Wildpeaks I set it at around 32 or something like that to get my speedometer to match correctly. I took my truck down the road from my house with the new tires and there is a radar sign my...
3.6 works just fine for me and the JT is already way overpriced so you start tossing in HO Engines and only those with deep pockets or the willingness to pay crazy monthly notes to get an engine 99% of Jeep owners probably could care less about. The Mall Crawler crowd would likely like it though
