I'm on my second 2021 Gladiator, and just like the first one the steering sucks. Too much play in the steering wheel and the jeep wanders all over the road. Very disappointed but I love jeeps and pickup trucks so the Gladiator fits the bill for me as I can't afford both a Wrangler and a GMC...
My Gladiator would just float back and forth between the white lines, just like I had way too much play in the steering wheel. After replacing the steering damper I took it back in to the dealer and they replaced the steering box, even though since it's a new 2021 I'm sure I already had the...
Finally made it to the dealer. They put on a new steering damper. Didn't do a thing to help with the wandering all over the place. Still too much slop in the steering. So I guess I will have to go with the Synergy Front Track Bar & Sector Shaft Brace. They couldn't even fix the static issue...
Never heard of Extend My Seat, but I'm glad you have, thanks for the link. My right knee has been killing me since I got my JT three months ago. The JT seats just don't go back far enough. Can't wait to order these. I was going to order the Desert Does It but I think this might work better as...
No haven't had one done. I've just got to get it in to the dealer and have them look at everything. If I get under there and start messing around who knows what kind of havoc I could create, better let the real mechanics deal with it. Thanks for you input.
Yeah it's weird I just float back and forth down the highway. I gotta get it in to the dealer. If one of the tires weren't balanced or something was loose I would think I would have more of a shimmy or vibration of some kind vs. just wandering behind the white lines. I don't think I have an...
Unfortunately I haven't gotten into the dealer yet, couldn't get an appointment that worked with my schedule and the bad weather. When I'm reading folks saying they run 36-38 psi, they are always referring to cold tire pressure, correct? That's what I'm assuming. So at 33 psi cold, which is...
Yeah I've heard that. I'm at about 33 psi cold, they warm up to 36 psi. I don't think that is too high, not positive for sure. I'm running the 33" Falken Wildpeak M/T, 285/70/17 tires. Is that too high for those tires? Thanks.
Hey Jollydude101, just came across your thread from last year. I just bought a Gladiator a couple months back and I've been researching cab covers for the spring and summer. I came across the Raingear one you bought and I'm thinking of getting it, since apparently the Mopar one still doesn't...
That's what I was afraid of. So I guess my only option is spending $300 on the brace. You would have thought Jeep would have taken care of this issue with the '21 model, so frustrating. Thanks.
Picked up my 2021 Gladiator Sport S between Christmas and New Years. The steering is terrible, I'm all over the road, I can barely keep it between the white lines. It's taken all of the fun out of driving it. I found several videos on installing the Synergy front track & sector shaft brace...
Love jeeps and love pickup trucks. Have had several of both through the years. Traded my 2015 truck in for a 2017 Wrangler. I missed having a pickup truck so I traded my Wrangler in for a 2018 pickup truck. Missed having a jeep, but knew I still needed a pickup, so the Gladiator was a...
