  1. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

TrueTracs are amazing. I have a '92 YJ with front and back TrueTracs and as long as you don't lift a tire in the air, (you can modulate the brakes) that thing is unstoppable.
  2. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

I tow a flat bed trailer and a camper with my JTR. When going up our 1/4 mile gravel driveway I just put in on 4h. Once off of our driveway the county gravel road is another mile out so to the black top. No issues in 4H. With the previous JTW the LSD was all I needed. Now I'm used to having an...
  3. Stinking, Stupid, Gladiator Rubicon Auxiliary Battery

Going from the top is easier than removing a heavy tire, fender liner and having to replace the plastic rivets. That is what I did a few months ago.
  4. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

There is minimal drone at that RPM range. I usually have my music going although at low volume and that is enough to cancel out the minimal drone you hear. I say minimal because I've had cars with exhaust systems that droned so bad that I took them off. I despise drone. With that being said, I...
  5. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

My reply was not bashing on the color. I was merely making a comment on how Jeep rolls out new colors and makes changes but still keeps the 3.6. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a bad engine, it’s just not a truck engine. I love the ā€˜41 color but no way I am buying a new Gladiator with the same 3.6.
  6. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

This is probably the most subjective topic there is. Some like them, some don’t. I really like the Afe Rock Basher. Not obnoxious nor it is dead quiet.
  7. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

Some fart cans actually sound great.
  8. Mojito! Now Available on Jeep Gladiator For First Time!

Love the color but how many more horsepower does that color add?
  9. Can I add 1 or 1.5 lift to my stock Mojave and not hurt ride quality?

MOPAR arms is a cheaper approach and solid. I did the 2" up front because I added a metal bumper and winch.
  10. Can I add 1 or 1.5 lift to my stock Mojave and not hurt ride quality?

When I swapped wheels and tires I managed to only be 2lbs heavier per corner vs OEM wheels and stock Falkens.
  11. Can I add 1 or 1.5 lift to my stock Mojave and not hurt ride quality?

While I don't own a Mojave, I recently lifted my Rubicon. When you lift you change geometry, no if or buts. The AEV kit will cover you bases for the most part. The geo brackets (not included with AEV kit) will bring caster to where it is supposed to be. Geo brackets avoid the flighty feeling and...
  12. Who Is Ready For Spring?!?!?

Just checked the forecast. It going to suck all the way to Saturday. šŸ˜’ Getting ready to harvest a few dead junipers for firewood. Luckily we have thousands of trees on our 18 acres. I guess it is cool to own your own forest.

I wish I had a tax refund! Our total tax bill was $39k including state taxes. Ouch!:(
  14. Who Is Ready For Spring?!?!?

Talking about camper. We have to get our Geo Pro ready for next’s week spring break camping.
  15. What tools to carry?

When I tried loosening it was below freezing. It might have something to do with it.
  16. Who Is Ready For Spring?!?!?

To be fair Harbor Freight makes some really good tools like Icon. I have many sockets from them and never have had a failure.
  17. Who Is Ready For Spring?!?!?

I saw it today and I thought it was cool but not $450 cool.
  18. What tools to carry?

I haven’t been able to loosen the control arms to install the geo brackets yet. I have a 24ā€ breaker bar but won’t fit where the exhaust loop is. I bought a 24ā€ wrench that fits but I can’t apply enough force with it if the car is only a few inches off the ground on stands. What a bitch.
  19. What tools to carry?

There are a few brands out there. Before I retired, I ran a SIGINT unit and my guys were really good at that. I used to buy them different kinds of radios for them to familiarize with them as well as being able to descramble their signals to listen to illicit activity over the radio and...
