When trying to use the Mojave skid plate, or the version that comes with Rubicon plastic bumpers they do not fit the mopar steel bumper. (or the other aftermarket versions) It appears most people end up trimming a little bit from the steel bumper. Others have also installed by moving the rear...
The mopar steel bumper and the other aftermarket versions only fit Mojave and its stock skid plate with modification. You can trim a little of the bumper itself or there are some other methods but trimming seems to be the easiest. Check this thread out. With the MP being aluminum, the trimming...
I'm looking in to this setup in the future. Make sure to read Synergy's stated lift per model.
It says their rear 2" springs would be zero lift to a stock Mojave. If you want to net 2 additional inches. You would have to run their 4" spring.
Running the 3" front spring will net 2 additional...
I'll say its really tricky for me to pinpoint. The Steering wheel feels great, it doesn't SEEM sloppy. But I can most certainly move between a certain amount of degrees and the truck isn't responding. I've owned a bunch of Chevy S10s that notoriously had sloppy gear boxes as well and it was so...
Update
Dealer ended up replacing the drag link, though the tech wasn't super confident it was bad but agreed that he could feel the movement. I went ahead and ordered the mopar control arms and had them ready for them to install with the new drag link. They performed an alignment and I made a...
With this understanding. In theory, I wonder if some could run a 1" (say synergy) spring and still be in the (Ride Zone). Seems like you could lift a Mojave a little and not run into the harshness that people experience when weight brings the front down and enters Zone 2. Adding 1" but not...
They did not modify the existing steel bumper to fit the Mojave specific skid plate. All the photos of the Mojave X have the black Rubicon skid plate as well. Little bit a of a bummer.
It happened after he turned off crawl control. Maybe the traction control thought the vehicle was sliding. Not sure. But the wheel clearly isn't just spinning free. Something appears to be modulating it.
It kind a looks like the system was activating the brakes to grab traction. I wonder if the on and off application of that was causing the driveline to load and unload.
This is really the hard part. They are responsible for the fix. Do I trust them, no. I have options. I just need to figure out what I want to put the effort into. I wanted this to be less about a crappy dealer and more specific to the situation. In the end, "check your components" was the key...
Welp times 3. I went under the truck to inspect. Had the SO turn the steering wheel back and forth. Balljoint end of the draglink into the knuckle is warn out. The shaft isn't moving so it appears tight, but there is a big clunk felt. Checked the other components and nothing resonates or is...
The scenario I was hoping to avoid happened. Brought it to the dealer. First time getting service done there. Wasn't impressed with the service writer immediately. Anyway, they said they test drove and agreed to my wandering condition complaint. They found my driver side front wheel to be...
The death wobble page is a glorious amount of data haha. Here's to hope the dealer finds something to correct. If not, I'll check the component torque for the front. Lucky to have a 250ft-lb torque wrench. I'm reaallly leaning towards getting the rancho brackets(preference built from others...
Appointment is set and is upcoming in a couple weeks. It would be great(well kinda) if they find something wrong and can get it dialed back in. I do love the truck.
