Yes, sensors that US build trucks don't have. 1 1/4" plugs come with the kit and you can buy them by the dozen at Amazon. Just replaced two this morning.
I'm not a frequent new car buyer, four in this life, and every vehicle I've bought has been a two hour or less transaction face to face with a dealership, but I totally GET why people buy cars through Costco.
I was confused 25 years ago, why you might want to pay a small premium just to avoid...
We ran over to the CA central coast last weekend, wife drives faster than I do which means long trips are all her. 350 miles in 2.5 days, 120 each way, 80-ish as much as traffic will allow, 16.x MPG calculated with a fair amount of rural roads and surface streets in there. Given the coast range...
If you're OK with a soft folder, I'm very pleased with the Mopar tri-fold after over a year. I did put 1" foam insulation at the top of the front bed to trap the hollow rubber gasket better about two months ago.
@AllMoparParts.com had a great price on it and gave me a free shipping code...
That will make a surprisingly large difference. I had my Wave oil change just before we left for the coast, the dang dealer had the 315/70R17's at 38-39. We were trying to beat traffic so my wife just drove through it - we joked it reminded us of why we named our truck Tigger (boucy bouncy)...
I got the "stock" option, since I ordered the 2" longer Mopar swaybar end links for less than the difference in cost. You need the stock height/no links option unless you've further lifted your truck.
Can't help but ask, did you get an oil change or anything else at the dealer lately? They always over-fill the tires and the ride quality is poor until I fix that.
Unfortunately that's distinctly different from a real limited slip, clutch or geared, it reduces power to the low traction axle as opposed to sending power to the high traction axle. I love my TrueTrac in my YJ and miss it from my Ranger, but the Gladiator is still amazing.
Well, not anymore you can't, Eaton made a locking TrueTrac for a period of time, it was the goodness of a Torsen style limited slip with a full locker at the flick of a switch. The regular ELocker took over that space in their product line.
And yeah, the Rubicon is an open diff with an electric...
The Toyota Tacoma TRD with its Crawl Control magic is why we have the Speed Select in the Gladiator. It was described as off-road cruise control at the Jeep Adventure Academy (late 2020), and the instructors emphasized it because it's NOT widely understood. Clearly the marketing and sales people...
My former father in law has an '03 Hummer H2 with the frame mounted drop down steps, two on each side. Over the course of 14 years, he ripped off 7 of them. Needless to say, we didn't get steps on the '06, and I used the rockslider the first month riding a fallen tree down a steep muddy...
The ACE Engineering sliders do not impede ground clearance, they do not interfere with the factory Rubicon sliders, and they are wide enough to be a good step. I've not barked my shin on them, and my petite wife has a good step to get in the truck. NOT CHEAP nowadays, unfortunately.
They also...
Tooling around dirt roads with only the occasional serious obstacle, that's where the swaybar disconnect comes in handy. Also good in snow, why run 4Hi until you must?
Good reminder how far you can get in a 2WD with a limited slip or a locker, too - more fun, more challenge, and no penalty for...
Get a Tazer mini. Rear locker in 2Hi, use it all the time, and front & rear in 4Hi. Also swaybar disconnect in 2Hi.
There is some convoluted recipe to do the rear locker in 4Hi for the '21 Mojave, it's been discussed on the forum.
After getting my Ranger back from the body shop where insurance would NOT let them replace the t-case after the rear driveshaft was ripped off, we went woodcutting at the ranch.
Ford has had a dial to engage the transfer case on various trucks for a long time, which controls the electric motor...
