Wow, that sucks. Worst I had my freedom panels were aligned like someone at the factory was drunk. Miracle it didn't leak. Think warranty will cover you or maybe some kind of fiberglass repair ?
that looks good, i'm looking to do the same thing, I am wondering if a uncut plastic could be had for the other side that came with the hook but im not sure if that even exists. I've touched up the steel plate around the factory tow hook soon after delivery, mine has rusted more after the...
So an update..on the update radio was locked for a week then seemed to work for almost a month. This morning radio does the loud pop and resets. So the update fixed nothing and added a new problem. Seems jeep hasn't been able to solve this since the 2018 JL. I will be demanding a radio refund...
Some good info, saw a set of covers for the hinges on Amazon but idk if I like or dislike the blacked out hinges. My weathertech mud flaps and oem running boards have been doing a good job but does anyone get a wide crack in the paint across the hinge at this point. I filled it with touch up...
Warning don't install the update at the dealership!!! It lasted a week, no loss of time or shorting out, today the radio is 100% BRICKED, its totally dead and unusable.....suppose I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up ....contacting jeep cares to reopen my case...probably getting my THIRD radio...
It is an issue of the inner door weld being broken. Dealership has admitted they will all eventually get this in every door. it is a design flaw that jeep has known about since 2018 in the JL. There is also no real fix. replacement doors will do the same thing. My driver door has done this since...
Sounds like you have a similar stealership like i do by me. Anything even TSB simply getting an update is like pulling teeth. I second getting it on video, you know you have a bad stealership when the answer to anyt problem is " it's a jeep thing " I had to realign my hard top panels myself...
There is an update out for it, sorry to say I had my radio replaced originally too and unless it has the new software it'll do the same thing eventually.
So jeep cares tells me the software update is out and it takes two hours. The service bulletin is 08-015-21. My local stealership is lazy and didn't want to even look it up until I offered to have jeep cares call them directly. I get it next week, hope this actually fixes something, tired of...
I get lots of waves but there are also many who don't wave at all, saw a cool yj today. Thing had a custom welded front grille, headlights tilted in an angry look with V8 on the grille. It was all home made and looked like they shoved some big motor in there behind it. Waves both ways. Too bad I...
The TC is much more sensitive than my renegade trailhawk had been. Gladiator senses slip going up hill or on a turn it pretty much kills power for two to three seconds. Took off traction control and it powers up the driveway fine. I also have snows on and 210 lbs of sand bags in the back
Thank you, sounds similar to mine, hopefully can pinpoint it exactly and kill it.. on the one uneven road by me it does the noise almost the whole drive
Dealership said they checked everything and nothing is off, it sounds more going over big bumps or going up an incline. Maybe it's something failing inside the shock itself
Sounds like what I have, no luck for me, new dealership said nothing they could see wrong. Old dealership I ignore said their usual answer whenever somthing is wrong " it's a jeep thing "
well possible good news for all who have these issues, jeep has called me back stating in the first quarter of 2021 they will be sending out an update for these radios that is suppose to fix the time and a few other issues. heres hoping
No idea, mine is more a scrape but dealership had it a week and says they can't figure it out. One of those drive it until it breaks more things I guess. Hope you find the issue, my gladiator seems to be piling on jeep issues with no fixes in sight
