Facts! They'll integrate it into the canbus system to ensure you can't (easily, cheaply) bypass it, AND they'll make it a "readiness monitor" to pass safety inspections, like seatbelts or the parking brake (which many shops sadly won't fail people for when they should).
Release those redacted...
The simple fact they charge damn near $2k and don't even change the speakers, and if you think 12w rms is loud, then you either have the treble way too high, or have more sensitive ears than I do (tested well into negative decibels). I DO have tinnitus so hearing some lower frequencies over the...
Seriously, get a good dash cam, one with a rear camera too. I use THIS Viofo A229 Plus (3ch w/ inc. rear cam). They offer an external rear camera accessory, which I plan to get soon for the the top comes off. It's a true 2k Sony Starvis sensor with HDR capability on both cameras to help in low...
Belkin Braided Cables
I still have mine from 5+ years ago. Seen 200mph (motorcycle cameras), UV exposure (13/10 on scale, AZ summers), rain, sub-zero temps (North East winters), basically all the environments. I've had usb-lightening, usb-type c, C-C, they all last. It's my go-to for cables...
Assuming the bed outlet cover? Idk any other covers in the bed. The tailgate cover is metal, not plastic, but iirc someone posted a tailgate mod recently the OP may be referring to.
You know when you unmarry it, your previous changes are saved to the Tazer, right? I unmarried mine a while back for a dealer visit, and everything was the way I had it when I re-married it.
List looks good though.
Looks like the T-Handle for the tri-fold bed cover. You live in the city where they build them, go ask the plant?
Seriously though, I don't have that under my JTW.
There's a reason many don't get those "upgrades":
Lights: If you live in a winter state, they WILL freeze over, effectively lowering light output and being less safe than halogens. It's not a matter of IF, but WHEN. Idk about you but I don't enjoy scraping ice of my headlights in freezing...
Does anyone know if Jeep changed the seal kit for the front doors over the years? I just had a dealer replace them and they said they added MORE seals which they didn't use under the previous warranty fix for the known door leak.
I'm asking because now my front doors leak 10x worse than they...
Be EXTREMELY careful using chemicals, some can and WILL destroy everything in your vehicle. There's a reason businesses charges over 1k for their use, because even as little as 11mins can start deteriorating plastics/etc beyond repair.
Also, if you ever have water in the truck...seal it up, run...
Adding to this, some newer vehicles are using plastic tracks instead of metal, and when they do...it's often part of another part behind the panel. Means no rusting, but more parts to work with and possibly more cost.
I had this in my rally car after it sat CLEAN for 7 years without being moved/opened, only 20x worse and everywhere. The following is how I got rid of it:
1) Take a CLEAN/NEW/UNUSED spray bottle, fill it 90% with WARM water and 10% white vinegar. Clean the windows then roll them all the way...
The final boss: Jeep owner with more-money-than-brains.
When the customer says they want "run flats", you give them runs flat.
When you want a Rubicon, but really wanted a G-Wagon Truck.
I still can't trust those mirror replacement cameras, for the simple fact you don't get the quality of view at distance as they use a fisheye lens that distorts everything past a couple feet, and worse the further away it is. Don't believe me? Go out and try driving in reverse with your factory...
I installed running boards/steps on a couple RAM1500s last year and a couple of the kits came with a bracket very similar to this. You mentioned it was near the (rear) door area, that confirmed my suspicion, as they generally have mounts for the brackets near the rear door and firewall/bulkhead...
I know this thread is old and was revived, but some good info for those who have shift "bumps".
Back in school I had an instructor who was a Master Saturn Technician, back around 2000 when GM changed the tranny in the ecotec they made the shifting SUPER smooth, like so smooth you didn't notice...
Use UV compliant and plastic/rubber compliant paint, even black. This will help fight cracking overtime. Generally though, aerosol paints are NOT plastic/rubber friendly and will deteriorate them even faster.
But for $100ish, I might see what I can work up!
