I'm actually looking for the DTCM connectors (the blue Male and Female) to make my own harness. Other than pulling my rear seat apart, can anyone provide a picture of the numbers on those M/F blue connectors? If not, I guess I'll just go pull everything apart.
The mopar repair kit doesn't state...
Except they don't brick them anymore, just slows down/reduces battery capacity, and ONLY if you update them past 2-3 years from the iOS that came on them.
I just use Beta software on all mine. My 13Pro still has iOS 18.5 Beta and I don't have any issues, none that I don't expect from a beta...
Yes, synchros are just to increase life, reduce noise and wear on gear teeth. I drove my Scion (camry engine) without the clutch and didn't have issues. Same with my ZX6R, 49k miles with minimal clutch usage when commuting and no issues (and I drag raced and did stunts with that same clutch)...
AGM still use the lead-acid chemistry, just in a sealed design.
Lithium requires different (higher) operating voltages than lead-acid chemistry batteries for charging.
Mechanics slap on parts and more often don't understand how complex systems work. Technicians diagnose, repair, and sometimes...
I thought so too, until I learned using Cruise Control gained 2mpg avg EVERYWHERE. I know it seems silly, unless I'm going up a serious hill with turns that require speed changes, it really does make a difference. Wen't from 14-15mpg (winter blend) back up to 16-17+ mpg avg. That's with 49lbs...
Let's be honest, many wrangler owners with all the fancy extras that never a dirt/gravel bought it because...it's the poor mans G-Wagon. Kidding, or am I?
Okay seriously though. PHEV are the best for long range hybrids. EVs on the other hand rely on the grid, and thus remove true freedom from...
You're correct, about all of this.
If you tap the brake pedal (automatic only) it SHOULD make the torque converter unlock fully and kill all line pressure (aka neutral), or at least most of line pressure. This is why when you hold the brakes at a stop, you don't destroy your clutch packs. This...
GoPros overheat when running 2k or higher resolution in ANY environment OTHER than cold temps where the batteries provide 25 minutes of juice. At least my Hero 10 Black does (it's had every part warrantied multiple times to the point they won't honor their warranty anymore).
TBH, GoPro is an...
I'm not even going to get started on Ford's long term reliability with their modern trucks (specifically the ecoboost lineup) other than this: warranty ends earlier on the turbo(s) than the rest of the powertrain, and their plastic ONE-TIME-USE tranny pans on transmissions that are known for...
Call your local Jeep dealers, talk to the service manager. Tell them briefly what happened and that you need a quote for a new paint matched hard top and installation. They might tell you they don't do in-house work like that but that's okay since it's actually pretty common. If you have the...
Getting a bigger truck isn't going to make your mpg concerns any better, just worse. Comfort will be better (subjectively), and you're getting a more expensive vehicle so remember that when it's time for routine maintenance or repairs.
Just remember you're comparing a mid-size to a full-size...
At 40k miles currently, from 28k in August. And it's more the ECM learning your driving habits/fuel quality/etc during that time. Do a firmware reset/reflash without saving any current data points (like when new) and watch it be weird again. Something we learned in school, and in the field.
This is turning into a pissing match so I'll leave it with this: I highly doubt you daily drive that 14k' elevation change, maybe 1k' sure, but so do I. Enjoy your jeep, I will mine. You weren't with me in either of those situations, nor can you read the key details apparently. Good day, Sir!
