Spacer "lift" is on, 1" tf front, 3/4" daystar rear, with Mopar lca. The goals were getting the wheel well gap closer to stock after installing the 35s and better handling.
I was in the same boat, wanted to run my stock JTR wheels. The only 35x11.5 MT is the Nitto trail grappler. Not my style and heavy. I compromised a bit and went with the Maxxis Razr AT, they are more of an MT lite. Maxxis fan as an avid mountain biker. Happy with the choice.
Installing the 1.5" TF spacer and Mopar lift LCA, when the weather turns nicer. TF install instructions call for the UCAs to be loosened/retorqued on the ground. How do you get to the driver-side axle bolt, it's buried above the pumpkin? Curious if anyone has had success or if I should just...
I want to install the 1.5", due to the fact that I'll have a winch. Question for those that did this install. The best practice, as I understand it, is to loosen and retorque the upper and lower control arms, while the jeep is on the ground and I'll be replacing the LCAs, easy enough.
How do...
I've seriously considered dropping the going Facebook MP/ ebay rate, but I know the buyer's remorse would be sky-high. Come on Mopar sell these dang things to your existing customers already!!!
I want these sliders after the lift too, but the broken body bolt threads have me nervous. I've broken body mount capture nuts on CJs/YJs and it's easy to cut the tubs there to fix. Did you use any heat?
Only had them a few days and on-road only but the tread pattern and depth is more aggressive than other ATs, they seem like they are almost between an MT and AT.
Not 40s but I just mounted up 35x11.5s a few days ago, posted in the 35x11.5 thread. I like them, way quieter than the MTs I had, lightweight, better response, and braking too. I have noticed they slipped pulling quickly out into traffic a few times, thinking I might try a lower psi, currently...

Pics as promised. These Maxxis tires are doing it for me, I'm a stock+ kinda guy. I like the aggressive AT look, they fill the wells better, still tucked, and no rubbing at lock. Noticeably quieter than the Wildpeak MTs. Will program the wheel diameter soon, and hoping for min mpg hit since they...
So I'll be the forum guinea pig & ordered the Maxxis Razr AT 35x11.5 from simpletire.com. Having them installed tomorrow and will post pics. These will be replacing the 285/70 17 stock Falken Wildpeak MTs.
Thanks for this post. I was likely going in this direction but this helps to seal the deal. Hoping this Spring the spacer lift and 35x11.5 Maxxis Razr ATs go on and I can post the pics here!
Pumped to see Axial releasing an SX24 Jeep Gladiator in Gobi and Hydro. These RTR mini crawlers are capable out-of-the-box but can tackle some pretty good terrain with a few extra mods (like brass weights and a better servo). I bought my son (and I) the Wrangler and C10 for Christmas and built...
