Yes! Don’t get me wrong I love my JTR, but square headlights and a grille akin to the J-truck on the JT was a missed opportunity to set the Gladiator apart from the wrangler.
As a YJ guy, I agree! If you like the one above (pretty sure that's the quadratec build) you're gonna love this one... https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/steer-smarts-gladiator-build-sema-2019.24047/
The axial scx10 (3rd gen) gladiator can be bought ready to run (rtr) or as a kit. http://www.axialracing.com/products/axi03006t2. They are very nice out of the box but you can mod them to varying degrees of crawler capability and/or to create a mini-me.
Bumping this thread with what appears to be a new offering in this tire size. Toyo is now making the Open Country MT 285 75r 17 in a load C. Two specs changed from the load E version; it dropped 2lbs from 69 to 67lb and is narrower from 11.6" to 11.3". I've been enjoying my JTR with stock...
Needed to haul some plants today and rolled the factory mopar tonneau back for the first time since installing the bars. It was surprisingly easy. I expected it to fight me more. Had to go back and forth a few times but maybe it took an extra two minutes. Good stuff, makes me love my truck even...
Last year I used the Bomber Straps and have the Mopar rolling soft tonneau cover. With the Bomber strap installed the last section of the tonneau that lifts up without unlocking it, (I think jeep referred to it as weekend mode to something silly like that) would rest on the bomber strap, its...
Picture Time! Picked up the rack last week. I used the track mounts they offer to attach the 1up bike rack and Roam case. Easy install, super solid, and got a free trucker hat!
In the same boat, check out Billie Bars. I have a rack on order from them and hoping to pick up (I'm local to them in PA) and install soon. They have a post in the vendor section with more details and a website. There is also a youtube video of a guy swapping the voodoo set up for Billie Bars...
JTR 8.4Uconnect. I swapped both upper front dash and both soundbar 3.5" speakers with four Kenwood eXcelon KFC-X3C 3.5" Mid Range Speakers for Chrysler/Toyota/Others, 50 RMS Max Power (Pair) using the metra 72-7902 adapters. The sound is noticeably crisper with more depth from the front than...
I've been debating a bed rack to haul a 1up rack and roam box. Considered the KBVoodoo but you guys seem to have a better product and I'm pro PA, so I'm ready to give it try. Appreciate the forum discount, looking forward to meeting you at pick up in a few weeks.
