Thank you!
Mine actually drives better than stock with the 37's at 35 PSI.
I purchased a 2.5 inch ReadLift before I got the Gladiator, just have to schedule with my guy to install it.
My JT manual Rubicon is a pleasure to drive.
Once you get used to the light clutch you realize what they were thinking when they did it.
Took me 25 miles to get used to it but I did stall it once in the process.
Now when I get into my 6 speed 392 Challenger the clutch feels like a workout.
Well I tested mine out manually.
It works just like my other Mopars = Fine.
No issue.
No problems.
No "blowing hot air at 60 or higher."
When my Gladiator was warmed to 75 degrees (via AUTO) it blew COLD air at MANUAL 60, and WARM air at MANUAL 80.
its a non issue for my Gladiator.
Hope you...
Ordered mine exactly the way I wanted it.
Got 5k off sticker.
No other dealer "in my area" was anywhere close to this deal on an ordered Rubicon.
Mine is also a 6 speed with no leather.
All I am saying, and you apparently also, is the Auto mode works just fine.
In that case I say thats "the fix", unless you MUST do manual cabin temp changes.
I got a 6 speed manual because I wanted to do my own gear changes, because its fun, but I prefer to let my Gladiator adjust the cabin...
My steering is not razor sharp but it certainly wasn't "Oh crap, this is terrible I may die!"...It's very acceptable (I didn't even lower the pressure either, 42 Psi)
Sounds like you feel the same as me...but your wife begs to differ.
Lower the air pressure and find out if your wife is...
You can't touch a new Raptor or Shelby for MSRP where I am on Long Island NY, even though resale value is tanking like a MoFo.("We only get 1 or 2 per year allocation...BLAH BLAH BLAH...")
I told them to "pound sand"
My VERY first thoughts after 180 miles on my stock 6 speed Rubicon with Mud tires option.
1) Yes the clutch initially felt very light compared to my 392 Challenger Hemi clutch.
It took me about 20-25 miles to get used to it... No big deal, don't let it stop you from getting a manual.
