the rockslides seem to keep the sides really clean. How much gas did you burn?~220 miles of offroading last two days..
We burned about 3/4 tank of fuel before hitting a gas station and filling up with 88 Octane Ethanol Free gas! Mind you, we were in 4LO and 4HI most of the 220 miles. We hit some gnarly steep rocky climbs and worked that JT good and hard. Wife says we rode her hard and put her away wet!the rockslides seem to keep the sides really clean. How much gas did you burn?
Very nicely done congratulationsWanted to contribute to this thread since it helped me make many decisions about my gladiator (thank you all)!
I ended up going with an overland. Very happy with my decision. I’m planning to do some off roading, but this is also my daily driver. I am definitely excited to see the places this thing will take me and my family!
Here are some pictures before and after the mods I’ve done.
I added 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers, switched to 17” fuel wheels (had my speedometer recalibrated) added a rugged ridge bumper, winch and bed cover, added a 3.5” rough country suspension, and lastly I added the hot head headliner and sound assassin strips.
That’s what I’ve got so far. Absolutely love this thing!
have a great one!
Thank you!Very nicely done congratulations
My first car was a red 1990 Jeep Cherokee. I loved that truck.
Since then I owned an Accord, a TL, an Audi A5, Audi A6 and an Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400.
Wife said I was crazy going from a 60k luxury sports sedan to a lumbering Gladiator. It makes her Cherokee look like a matchbox car.
I've had her a week, but goddamn I love this truck. It's an Overland that's loaded with stock features like leather, nav, 8.4 screen.
I couldn't justify a Rubicon since I'm in NJ and it's not that easy to get dirty in this area and it'll handle the beach just fine in this trim.
I would at some point like to get new tires and a new bumper. Need to get the bed liner and bed cover first.
I did a short term lease and I'm likely going to buy it before the term is up.
What wheels are those again? They look nice.
