2020, no, I painted it myself. But, Maaco would probably be a good alternative for people to have it painted. They have guys with good experience painting. Just wouldn’t have them do any kind of bodywork.

I’ve spent $350 on paint and painted a whole’68 VW Beetle. probably 30 minutes to prep. not much paint. I’d say they are over charging.

I’ved lived in Texas for 61 years. Vinyl seats are a no. Cloth seats are fine. I still prefer leather. They are fine in the heat.

It’s your money and your build, but, just consider leather seating over cloth. I’ve had leather seating in all my vehicles over the past 30 years. So much easier to clean, keep clean, and the way manufacturers treat the leather, don’t really have to do much to keep them in really good...

I asked this in a different thread but was meant to ask here. Just a stupid question from someone who doesn’t know squat. If you aren’t going off roading for a long period of time, would removing the front skid plate help airflow and cooling? Also, maybe fabricate a lower air scoop.

I think the term is spend therapy. You’ll get plenty of that. I have catalogs and have planned my purchases and my gladiator hasn’t been delivered yet.
