  1. Sarge Green Sport S HIGHLY UNNECESSARY Build Thread

They've been fine. They did great on the light wheeling I've done, and they're surprisingly quiet and comfortable on-road. They look fantastic. I run them at 33/34lbs and calibrated the speedo at 34.4in I think. Big mileage hit though- ooof. Also I haven't regeared and it's a little strange. You...
  2. Sarge Green Sport S HIGHLY UNNECESSARY Build Thread

OK the scooter mirrors are these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DOV2LUE ...and they kind of just work: The nut is a tiny bit hard to finger tighten, so I might put some kind of washer or spacer on it (Narrator: he is too lazy to do this), but for the money, it's a no-brainer.
  3. Just bought my first Jeep and would love feedback

Not sure I like what I'm hearing with this "grille" talk. I'm sure you're not thinking of an angry birds grille....right....? RIGHT?
  4. This inflation is getting out of hand. ?

I agree. These systems that can air up all four tires at once are total overkill.
  5. Suspension Package VS Frankenstein build

When you say "stock control arms" do you mean you did not install the LCAs that came with the lift, and used the AEV brackets instead on the LCAs? Or just that you left the rest of the control arms stock? Also, were the draglink and tie rod upgrades just for beefiness, or do you figure they...
  6. Upper Shock Bolt Help *I’m an idiot” - scratch that, I’m not

Well, you either need to pull from one side or push from the other. I guessing slipping anything under the bolt head is virtually impossible. All you need is for the threads to bite, so maybe you could grab the bolt head with vice grips and pull/twist to get it started? Is there any way to get...
  7. E85

The use case for scattering valvetrain parts down a quarter-mile of freeway, yes.
  8. Traded '21 Gladiator for '22 Wrangler

Well, I guess if no pictures of it exist we'll just have to use our imagination.
  9. Traded '21 Gladiator for '22 Wrangler

That is an unusual ownership story but I'm here for it. Sometimes it's about the journey, not the destination. I hope you absolutely love your little JL! I went to buy my Gladiator and was sorely tempted by a blue two-door Rubi JL at the dealership. It was so impractical for my needs that I...
  10. TRACK BAR QUESTION

After the Mopar 2" lift and ~35x12.5, my front axle was more like 5/8" off to the driver side. The track bar attaches to the frame at the driver side in front, so lifting pulls the axle that way in front, and the opposite in back. It was pretty obvious from the front - I asked my wife what she...
  11. Lets see all those Gladiators with lifts and bigger tires!

Here are the lug nuts. https://www.extremeterrain.com/coyote-jeep-gladiator-black-6-spline-nut-kit-14mm-x-150-631548sblk.html According to Ion, "The 171 will require the use of a 60 degree conical seat lug nut."
  12. Camping with your Gladiator

Camping tent, hound dog, pickup truck. It is a simple formula.
  13. Lets see all those Gladiators with lifts and bigger tires!

If I could get those springs on, it would be a lot easier to work on... Send you which, the lift kit, or the sports car? My wife is raising the point about having redundant stick-shift convertibles more and more frequently now that you mention it...
  14. Sarge Green Sport S HIGHLY UNNECESSARY Build Thread

That looks like it's supposed to be that way. I will read up on it some more. Thank you.
  15. What have you used 400w plug in bed for?

You and I might have different definitions of "critical".
  16. Punk'n returns for 2023 - And other 2023 changes

Completely psyched about the yellow and the orange. Those colors have been conspicuously absent.
  17. Project retro phase two and three complete, she's coming together
