they do look pretty high but ill bet they throw a great amount of light.
mine are much lower and the cab does get in the way a little but gave me a great excuse to add a couple to the front bumper as filler light and now its perfect.
I'm not sure how I'm going to use it myself, but If I were to mount anything with any weight on it, I would probably have gone with their platform option as well. In fact. I strongly contemplated it. I did show someone at Maximus (Joe I think it was) and he seems to think it should be safe but...
Well to be honest, the top rarely comes off. But I do take the panels off when wheeling and no, the amount of light that leaks into the cab is minimal or not noticeable. I think it's because the top does of good job of preventing/blocking that. I imagine if I took the top off it would be a...
Adding functionality to an already awesome product.
I've wanted a bed rack or basket tied into the chase bar since it first arrived. The challenge was finding one that was the proper size and a solid mounting solution.
I finally went with the Rhino Rack 37X56 and it's the perfect size. To...

A cheap lightbar or grill won't leave you stranded in the middle of the road when it breaks, a cheap suspension will.
3.5 is probably as high as you want to go. anything higher than that and you need to start replacing a lot of other parts. not to mention, your truck is going to look funny...
I took one look at this thread and went straight to the website. This could be exactly what I'm looking for. I'm 6 ft even. According to their chart (and my inner seam), I went with the Shorty Front Seat Jacker. Ill post as well when they come in. I'm little worried about my head hitting...
Rugged Ridge and Maximus 3 both make chase racks (not bed racks) purpose built for the Gladiator. makes it really practical to mount any lights you want, and I think they look sharp as hell but I'm bias.
He is literally just splicing wire together, why spend $180 on that? All 4 wires just need to run to a single wire and straight into the Aux switch lead. unless I missed something.
Ever since I discovered deutsch connectors, I won't use anything else. they are a little pricey but reliable and fun to build. There are many types and I'm constantly replacing with something better as I venture deeper into the rabbits hole that is custom wiring. you can even find the more...
Thats exactly what I did. Lights on Chase Bar? | Jeep Gladiator Forum - JeepGladiatorForum.com
Yes, just run them all together into one switch. Make sure you multiply the amps X 5 and pick a switch that can handle it.
So, I thought it would be fun to follow this up with some updates. In no particular order -
1st - I rewired everything into a single loom with two 8 pin deutsch connectors (I love those things). then wrapped the whole thing in a very fancy color matched wire loom. This should make removal...
