I think that I am all caught up to that point. I believe that in the off road portion the Gladiator will excel. I purchased the Gladiator largely due to it's off road capabilities. For a mid size truck my second choice would be the Ranger Raptor.
I have watched a mid size truck challenge were TFL was comparing the mid size trucks. I have been eagerly awaiting the off road portion. I have been unable to find it. Does anyone know?
I am on my third Gladiator. I had a 2021, 2022 and now a 2023. I have owned 2 F150's as well and a Grand Cherokee L. I have always came back to a Gladiator. I plan on keeping this one but, Hurricane would be a game changer for me. It would be on to Gladiator # 4
My Ecoboost had 3.73 and my 5.0 had 3.31 years. So not equal in that respect. The torque delivery was lacking in my 5.0, maybe because of the gear. However the fastest 0 to 100 mph vehicle ever tested by the Michigan State Police is the Ecoboost F150 Responder truck. It is available with the 5.0...

I have not driven a TRX. Owned a Charger Hellcat, Charger Daytona 392, Challenger Scat Pac Shaker and a 2019 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi. I really liked them all. I have owned 2 Cummins and 1 Power stroke and I liked the 6.4 better. As another comparison I owned a 3.5 Ecoboost and a 5.0 in F150...
Sorry for the above long rant. All of the negativity on BOTH engines is undeserving. Adding a turbo to a normally aspirated can lead to disaster. An engine designed for a turbo application is designed and built for it. The Hurricane will find it's way in to my hands, even if it is in a new a...
It's weird, on this forum there seems to be a lot of dislike for the 3.6. People are worried about longevity. Cams, lifters, heard, etc. I work for a small police department that has a 12 police pursuit chargers with the 3.6 and the average mileage is approximately 150,000 plus 9,000 idle hours...
Hello to all! This my be posted in the wrong place but I wanted to share my experience while driving a Wagoneer equipt with the base 3.0 Hurricane. I recently drove a 2024 Wagoneer over 400 miles with the 420 horsepower and 468 torque rated 3.0 Hurricane. I can only wish that it will be...
Did it happen to be Southern CDJR in Norfolk? I drove up there from East Tennessee to purchase my 2023. I was happy with the price and the salesman but the experience over all was a nightmare.
I like the Mojave wheels on my Max Tow. Tires are 315/70r17. These are similar in size. Very little poke. This is no lift. Keeping springs but using 1.5 spacers front and .75 rear.
My 2023 Sport S with the Max Tow option drives/steers very well, even with 315/70r17's on Mojave wheels. I have had three. 2021 Rubicon with everything Synergy sold was great. 2022 Sport S steering was pretty bad but got much better with shocks and tire change. 2023 drives the best of the three...
I don't buy anything with that as my main concern. But at 3-4k miles a month I do try to get the best that I can. Just wanted to comment on what they are capable of. Heck, I got 23 mpg out of a 2016 Charger Hellcat. I purchased all three Gladiator 's because a I like them and there immense...
The 2021 Rubicon on 37's that I traded in I purchased used. It weighed 5400lbs empty. The previous owners lifetime mpg was 12.79 mpg. I put 7,700 miles on it and the mpg in the picture is what I averaged. The only variable was driving style and location. My first Gladiator was a Sport S with...
I have no trouble getting 22 mpg with the 245's in combined driving on my Max Tow. I dropped to 20 mpg combined with 315/70's. My best highway was 25 mpg. I hyper drive for mpg. Almost 7,000 miles in two months.
The seat has always been my biggest complaint. I did notice that my Rubicon with leather seats were more comfortable. It seems like on the equipment summary print outs one showed the seat cushion code to be an "A " and the other was a " B " seat cushion. I know that both Sport S cushions seemed...
I agree on the hard seats! They seem fine when you first sit down but even 2 hours later I have to get out and walk. I am 6'2" and 290. As they get older they seem to get better. As I side note the seats in my Grand Cherokee L were much better.
It looks like we are all mostly in agreement. You just can't leave either the way it came. On my Jeeps from the 1970's and 80's it took a lot of lift to clear bigger tires. Mostly did spring over axle lifts and used up to 38.5 x 15 tires. Back then I broke something mechanical on almost all off...
