The key is definitely how driven. The Rubicon that I got used on he averaged like 12.59 MPG. He lived in Louisville, Kentucky so probably a lot of stop and go traffic...and he traded it in on a Mustang GT. My driving is mainly state highway's at 55-65 on rolling hills. Heck, I got 23-25 MPG out...
Hello to all! Just wanted to share my experiences with three different Gladiator's.
The first was the Black Sport S. It was missing some options that I wanted such as Max Tow, Alpine Audio and Cold Weather Package. I changed the tire size and it averaged 23 MPG for the 17,000 miles that I...
It's not much of a surprise about Randy Marion Jeep. I have never dealt with a more dishonest and morally corrupt dealer. It was a surprise that you were advised against dealing with Steve White in Hickory. I purchased a Chrysler 300 from them a couple of years ago and was very satisfied. I...
To the OP that is having issues I am sorry. My experience here in the states with CDJR vehicles has been position. Personally I have owned a Hellcat, SRT Charger and Challenger, 5.7 Charger, Ram 2500 w/ 6.4, 3 Chrysler 300's 3.6 and 3 Gladiator w/3.6. My overall experience with their products...
Old Man Emu was my go to on TJ's. Good quality and fair price. I used the 5.5 suspension lift and it was awesome. I would be a player on Gladiator stuff.
The bed was extended on this one. The Pink Jeep Gladiator was shorter by quite a bit. The lift was more on this one as well. The suspension components were better (HD) than the Pink ones as well. I really liked it!
I believe so. In my area there are quite a few Gladiator's running 37 x 12.50 on 20's. I just checked Walmart and they have 37's for 20's as low as 218.00! They had many between 200-300.00, much cheaper than 17,18's. Plus on 37's with those wheels the sidewall is no issue. I hope this helps. My...
Possibly due to height/ diameter at just over 32". Most want tires to be taller than original equipment. Being a 50 series the sidewall is short. Not good for ride quality or off road characteristics. Just my thoughts.
I saw several of the Pink Jeeps Tours ones on the same day. The one that I spoke with was driving a 2020 with 150,000 miles on it. I noticed that the suspension was not as heavily modified as the one in the pictures nor did it have the passenger capacity. What a Jurassic Park Edition you could...
I saw this on the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail in the Smokies today. So much for maximum payload. It had 10 passengers plus the driver. Counting the modifications and the passenger area ( full steel roll cage as well ) well over 2000 lbs.
I agree on the shocks. On my Rubicon I loved the ride quality. It was smooth on the road and same on trails. However the side to side rocking motion was terrible! My weight was 5470 the one time that I weighed. The Rubicon had 37's. Interesting that my Max Tow Sport S on near 35's with stock...
Being a rental probably excessive idle time. I know from experience at with police packages with the 3.6 when working an accident while idling because of the lights the fuel economy drops by miles per gallon! It's weird but the 4.6 in the Crown Victoria drops by .10's of MPG. I never figured out...
My 2022 build date 09/2022 had it. My 2021 of 09/21 did not. I don't like the way that it looks ( just kind of hanging there ). But as a police officer that has worked 100's of accident's I could see the value. Especially on an offset frontal impact.
I took am very happy with the fuel economy. I have owned many CJ's and TJ's and these have averaged far better. I bought a 2023 Grand Cherokee L and put 17-18,000 miles on it in 6 months. It averaged 24.3 during that time. Not too much difference all thing's consideration. I drove a rental...
