    Those are cool!
  2. Coil Spring Advice for Overlanding

I run the standard aev springs when I tow with 500-600 pound hitch weight and I still have rake. I would add your stuff, load for a camping trip and test it. You may be suppressed. Worse case you then decide to swap the rears.
  3. Indecisive on Overland Setup

Small cases on the driver side seem to be wasting a lot of rack space. Height an issue to get in the garage? Maybe moving the traction boards up top, you take the truck top off? If no maybe a roof rack for them. Add some larger cases/fuel water there. Different set up for the small cases...
  4. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Got the truck detailed! 35k miles and 4 years he needed a good cleaning, wax and interior go through.
  5. Tow Capacity - Double Check the Math

Not quite right. There is base, no tow package, bumper ball towing, it's little to nothing. Tow package which has the class 4 hitch (?) gives most rigs 6k towing, thing some have 6600 (Rubicon?). Max Tow is another step above that that gives you 7650 (off the top of my head). Big thing with...
  6. Tow Capacity - Double Check the Math

There is more to it. Tow package as noted should give you 6k towing. On your driver door sill is a sticker that lists your GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating). This is the most your truck can carry. You need to take your truck to a CAT scale and weigh it, should cost $13. Subtract that actual...

  8. Easter Jeep Safari starts this weekend, April 12th!!!

So as I think, I’m in a gladiator 2.5ā€ lift on 35ā€. Front locker, winch, new shocks etc etc. I’m. One the least modded rigs out there! 🤣 Hells is no joke it’s a 6 rated trail. And I was able to do it really with no problems. Great spotter on Gate. Dragged the tail on a few spots cause we are...

  10. Easter Jeep Safari starts this weekend, April 12th!!!

Backwards Bill and wipe out hill! This is my favorite trail in Moab. Great challenge other good obstacles but not overwhelming, absolutely great views. There are other harder trailers, longer trails, better views, but all together this is my favorite. The leader went up wipeout to the left...

  15. Under the air box, what’s this thing?

Huh, never knew it had an air draw there. I wounder if that's the cuplrit in some "gulping" water issues I've heard abought? Never seen it just heard of one offs were they suck a water load. I left it when I put in the snorkel.
  16. Under the air box, what’s this thing?

Looks like a vent or intake for something?
  17. Tire Pressure display

What screen are you seeing? Odds are they reset the oil change %, you just need to move the screen back to the TPS page. And no I can't remember how to do it with out sitting in the car :surprised:
  18. Is using auto start stop worth it?

He doesn't go by Fluffy dose he? I know a guy like that, just had an epic melt down on an other forum, to bad besides being negative he was fun to read his wife stories (they had to be made up, why would she stay with him if not?!?!?!).
  19. Is using auto start stop worth it?

Stop start saves fuel, it's easily measurable. For rolling traffic you just ease off the break let it start and if you don't go over (I forget exactly 5mph? it wont engage again, this is the bumper to bumper rolling setting). If I commuted I would 100% leave it working. Of course if I...
  20. Anyone go with more narrow 35” tires?

Total Highjack. Can you do a review post? I like that snorkel! I want one for dust more than anything but AEV's you have to cut the hood and that's always bugged me, AmFib's had issues with the ducts collapsing and the big box section at the cowl messes with cowl lights. This one seems to...
