Ok update and against the grain I went negative.
No reason other than the way the factory lines laid out it made most sense.
Programed a custom charge profile and all set.
This was in my trailer replaced the 3 100 amp hr amg with a 300 amp hr lithium.
Added a cut off switch to isolate 100%...
Ok Q: should a battery disconnect switch be on the positive or neg side?
We used to do them on the positive leg in the marine power boat world, but I'm under the impression neg is more widely practiced?
Hell ya! Was 11 deg here 3 weeks ago. Was 62 yesterday!
Plans so far:
Some trailer mods need to get done, this Month.
First tip of the year will be over to Succor Creek OR.

Then Moab for EJS!
After EJS a longer trip over to Leslie Gulch and Coffee...
For the extra few $ get the kit with the 5100 shocks.
5 year old used truck you factory shocks are probably on there last legs.
There’s no way for us to tell 100% but the pictures don’t look like that kit would be level. It will probably have some rake to it. Which is what you should have a...
Yes premium. Every turbo/charger I know of for our rig requires premium. Now certainly if you end up someplace with only regular your not going to instantly blow up if you use one tank of regular.
Under normal driving I've never had an oil or tranz temp issue. Towing up a 6 deg grade in 100+...
There are a few of us!
I tow a bit, My trailer is apx 5k.

I get 10ish mpg or so trailering, and 15 mpg on the road, running 35's".
I do get some heat issues towing on big grades in the summer, so...
I think it's the opposite. The Adj is on the upper control, so moving it rear ward will pivot the axle as if the lower was going forward.
But I'm just guessing.
To add to what others have said:
My .02$ is either the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 285/75/R17, or the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 35x11.5 R17. And of the two just go 35". The 285's are 34" and you'll want 35"s eventually.
I would not waste any time or $ on the 285/70's. And the AT4's are a better tire...
I really liked my max tow off the lot. With the 4.10's and stock tires it was down right peppy. Ride was good, I never drove a mojito or rubi or regular sport so can't compare. Think I was getting 22 mpg 2 lane freeways on my initial drives.
For a daily driver/farm truck I would be it's great...
I'm anal abought my speedo. Took me a few settings changes to get it right.
The BEST way to set it is on your next road trip. Set the trim odometer and a gps trip, do your drive. Check and change, then double check and adjust on you way home!
You can spot check the speedo and gps driving down...
To add, now that is is out, if I got a 5xx for a present I would not take the time to swap them. I would use the other unit in a different rig or put it in my trailer.
Flynn how did the jack work out? I need to work on the kids car and my old one died in my move a while back, never replaced it. Figured I would use this as an excuse to buy a new one and get something that would work on the lifted Jeep. Jack work on a regular sedan/car as well?
