If you did all this without starting the truck, then it's likely just bad or low battery(ies) and the low voltage state is throwing your electronics into a frenzy (common with CANBUS systems). A winch, even when not under load, draws A LOT of amps.
Now, the run-away winch is another issue. That...
I have some el-cheapo Amazon ones and I've cracked my knee on the corner plenty of times. I've told myself I'm removing them multiple times, but they are still installed... I have a love-hate relationship with them.
I originally reached out via facebook, but yes you can call the number that was posted earlier. Let him know you saw this post from me, Wes. I think he is worried that I am trying to get one just to resell it for more, but that is definitely not the case. Maybe if he sees I'm already getting...
I believe these maintain pressure against the housing to prevent vibrations. There are two on the OEM mirrors but only one spot for them on the Wolfbox mirrors. I swapped em over at first, but then when the mirrors wouldnt adjust out as far I removed them thinking maybe they were the culprit...
At normal adjustment no, I can not see far enough down, but theres plenty of downward adjustment that you could make on the fly. When I get home after work I'll see how much downward I can get while still maintaining side view and report back.
After a few days of driving the truck with these mirrors, I can say they do help. I still stand behind my statement that you don't get as much as they advertise in the marketing photos, and you don't get much from the passenger mirror.
I will also state I think it's really going to depend on...

Folks were being dickheads in a few of the other AAL posts the past couple days as well, all because the product wasn't applicable to a stock configuration truck, but instead for anyone running their spare on a bumper carrier...
Update on this:
He has posted some more photos in a few Facebook pages of a demo model now on his truck. I spoke with him last night on the phone, he owns a international insulation and building materials business and is looking to sell these as a side gig. Website is almost finished and should...
Yes you have to fold the windshield down a little, but once you do theres a decent gap that you can fit wires through, and once you st the windshiled back into place theres enough room that the wires don't get pinched. Theres a few threads around here, and some youtube videos that show more...
Those of you willing to buy through Carvana or anything similar are entirely too trusting, IMO. That's a large investment that you're purchasing and leaving in the hands of people you've never met, for an item you've never seen. I'd much rather spend an hour at the dealership doing paperwork and...
I love how folks immediately come in here and try to be smartasses since the Gladi *in stock form* mounts the spare underneath, as if it's impossible that some folks might have relocated their spare to a rear bumper mount and could utilize these products (which is common for overland builds...

Others have mentioned Mountian House and Peak, but theres a couple more that are really good but not well known outside the midwest...

Honestly, I'd rather have my own insurance before it gets delivered, even if the delivery company has insurance. When I bought my BMW I had it delivered from Idaho. It arrived covered in road grime (winter storms), and after inspection I found it was damaged. Tried to work with the delivery...
The seals in those plugs dry out over time, so using a little dielectric grease is a good idea also.
I'm chasing an intermittent light as well. Harness has been repaired once already by the dealership, but now its out of warranty and I don't feel like paying their inflated shop rates for...
I wish I could have gotten Gator, but it's a 2020 color so unfortunately no diesels. Gobi would have been my 2nd choice. Only reason I ended up with white was because I just happened across it at the dealership in town who got it in on trade. It hadn't even made it to the lot yet, so it was...
I'm actually glad I didn't go with anything from UnPlug Outdoor Co. I think they're going out of business. Their website has almost nothing on it, and what is there is at crazy reduced pricing. I've found some reddit and bookface posts from folks that paid a deposit for things and now they can't...
Yeah aluminum for the panels went up almost $400 in the past 6 months since I last had some made. I'd really like to make the frame out of extruded aluminum so it's adjustable, but the cost is insane.
Really what I need to do is get a pop-up RTT setup like a GoFast or Lonepeak and then figure...
