One last observation, my stock OEM mirrors had a metal clip at the bottom of them. (See picture below.) Not sure what it is for exactly, perhaps extra stabilization? But the WOLFBOX mirrors did not have it.

@WOLFBOX do you know what the metal clip on the OEM mirrors is for and how come your replacements don’t include it? Thanks.
I believe these maintain pressure against the housing to prevent vibrations. There are two on the OEM mirrors but only one spot for them on the Wolfbox mirrors. I swapped em over at first, but then when the mirrors wouldnt adjust out as far I removed them thinking maybe they were the culprit, but they weren't. I never did reinstall them on the Wolfbox mirrors after that, as the instructions do not mention anything about them.

Ok. That makes sense. I only had one on each of my OEM mirrors though.

I did wonder about swapping them over as I saw the spot on the Wolfbox mirrors but left them alone for now. Figured I can do it later if need be.

my 2025 mojive only had 1 clip per side as well and i swapped it. that was prob the hardest part.

Your mirror pics are legit. Definite improvement.

Now id just like to remove that FCW sensor that blocks tall people mirror views.

Went out for a drive tonight and wow, yeah I can see so much more on the drivers side especially. Call me impressed.

It’s an adjustment for sure as I lost the magnification from the OEM mirrors and you do notice the curvature a bit as well. But I felt like I could see down the side of my JT and the full lane next to me as well.

Very happy with the purchase.

Your FCW sensor comment cracked me up! šŸ˜‚ I still have to lean forwards in my seat and bend at times in order to be able to see some of the traffic signals in town change. No idea why they have them mounted up so high!

RIGHT?!?! and because of it the mirror post is rigid, cant flip mirror or move it to make it better.

I started removing some stuff to try and relocate it but it felt like i was gonna break something. Once it cools down again in 6mo i'll pull the top and dig further with a better top view.

Forgot to put the before pics in but it’s definitely much easier to see my trailer now. Still have to move your head around obviously but not nearly as much or at all if just looking to check clearance

Has anyone tried both these and Suma Performance mirrors? I’m current using Suma and from what I’ve seen they are both very similar. I bought Suma looking for a wider side view. The problem I have is when driver's side is adjusted out it hits the plastic housing and has popped off a couple of times. The Wolfbox are much less expensive so I may give them a try.

Not tried Suma at all, but if my side mirror popped off while I was adjusting it and driving I’d freak out! šŸ˜‚

Reminds me of the time it started raining heavy and I turned my wipers on only for the drivers side wiper arm to completely fly off the motor! 🤣 (Old 110 LandRover)

That sounds normal for a Rover.

I’m very curious as to this as well. Any updates from folks who have them?
Interesting question. I have transition lenses not polarized, but no issues with them when they darken up.

I wanna know how they interact with polarized lenses now too! 😁

@Idlethunder

I have installed Suma Performance Side Mirrors on 7+ JL's and JT's. I have never ever seen / experienced the issue you are having. I'm thinking you are not installing the mirror correctly. Install again and be 100% certain you line up connect points and that they connect properly.

@MSFTMatt

IF your vehicles side windows are heavily tinted or you are one that wears decent polarized sun glasses you are undoubtedly, best not to go with the "Blue" side mirrors (combo equals too dark)

By the way, first to market for such a side view mirror offering for the JL/JT, Suma Performance spews what I stated above about heavily tinted window glass and Blue side mirrors are not a good combo.
