you can do the sidetrack lights and also there’s the signals that go into the mirror cap. It started as an EU standard but then they started to implement it on certain US models.
We honestly aren't opposed to it man. Im going to bring this up to our product development team.

The drivers side there is definitely some more visibility, but the passenger side not so much.
That makes sense, as the passenger side mirror is already a convex mirror, go too much wider and "objects in mirror" would definitely be "closer than they appear!"

I’m a huge fan of my DC Designs VSL lights for that reason. Amber Side turn signals and white off road lights all in one. And they look close to factory.

If you do this, try to make them to be on the stem of the mirror. Not on the outside edge of the mirror. For the ones that hit trails, that is one of the first things that gets hit on tight trails. Something on the mount around where the mirror mounts to the body would be way safer. Maybe a thin flexible LED strip incorporated there. Broken Mirror is a trail name for a reason. :like:

They have two lights in them, and the amber I think matches the mopar amber perfectly. I added a 6” harness between the fender and the jeep, and used it to steal the blinker circuit without touching the factory harness. The ambers are very bright and I can see cars notice them before a lane change. In 3+ lane situations, they often move when I turn them on, even if they’re directly next to me. I’ve absolutely loved them.

I have absolutely no Mopar Amber left on my Jeep. Still want something like this though. I’ll look at it after my oil change. 1 hand typing is ROUGH!!!
Bro. You shouldn't use OW20 when you're doing that. Its not good for your skin. Use 30 weight.

HA!! Nah it was MY oil change. Not the Gladiators. I donate plasma a few times a month and call it my oil change. :idea:

Delivered today. Packaging is great, truly.
Install was pretty easy, hardest part was pulling that weird metal clip off the back, just being careful so i keep the OE mirror in good shape.

I'll see if I can do pictures later.

I had the little sticky mirrors to view wide. These new blue mirrors seem to give me at least the same if not better view but all in one mirror, not relying on some tiny mirror.

Happy. Need to drive with them.

After a few days of driving the truck with these mirrors, I can say they do help. I still stand behind my statement that you don't get as much as they advertise in the marketing photos, and you don't get much from the passenger mirror.

I will also state I think it's really going to depend on what you're after, and how you use your side mirrors. Many folks adjust their side mirrors to see behind them, I adjust my side mirrors the way they are SUPPOSED to be adjusted, and thats to see your blind spots along side of you. You have a rear view mirror on the windshield to see behind you, your side mirrors are to see along side you (it's literally in the name, REAR view mirror and SIDE view mirror).

I can still adjust the passenger mirror out a little bit, but the drivers is out as far as it will go. I think if the glass was angled a tad more outwards on the mould they would be great, but as they are now you get more inwards view than you do outwards view. I don't need to see my rear doors or in my rear windows...

Best way I can explain it is through images.

Got mine put on and I’ll echo some remarks from others. They do definitely give a bigger field of view. I like the blue tint. It definitely makes night driving much better. Driver’s side definitely has a larger impact. I wish the passenger side would have the same field of view as the driver’s side. I’m adjusted as far as the housing will let them go. I don’t feel a need for the tiny spot mirror but might put on one just to give more. I’m hoping to get my trailer I powered up earlier to test how they work.

Honestly I wish someone made a full mirror housing that was like 2-3” wider and maybe 1-2” taller with the convex mirror or having a split lense kinda setup. Yes I know they make the caps with another mirror in them but just don’t like the look of them.

Honestly I wish someone made a full mirror housing that was like 2-3” wider and maybe 1-2” taller with the convex mirror or having a split lense kinda setup. Yes I know they make the caps with another mirror in them but just don’t like the look of them.
This right here. I use my sides to check the edge of the bed/bumper when backing up, especially in tight areas like parking lots. Adjusting them outboard more to cover the entire blind spot eliminates that. Ultimately a convex split setup would be best.

In the mean time i have the BSM on and set the Tazer to turn the backup cam on when i hit the signals... and instinctively look over my shoulder always. :P

At normal adjustment no, I can not see far enough down, but theres plenty of downward adjustment that you could make on the fly. When I get home after work I'll see how much downward I can get while still maintaining side view and report back.

Here is my install tale! My mirrors finally arrived on the barge.

The trauma started when I picked them up at the shippers warehouse as the agent walked back to the front desk looking sheepish and asked if the box was anything delicate as it had kinda got squished in transit. 😳

I told him it was mirrors (like it said on the box) and he went a shade paler and said could we open the box there to check the contents.

Thankfully @WOLFBOX did a great job packing them in bubble wrap bags with room in the box so despite its poor shape the mirrors were fine.

Installation was amazingly simple as WOLFBOX had indicated. Snap the old mirror off, transfer wiring connections (heat in my case) and snap the new mirrors on.

Admittedly I haven’t been driving in them yet, but the difference for the drivers side mirror was instantly apparent to me. Much better field of view.

The passenger side mirror was less apparent, (as folks here already mentioned) but I did gain some extra view overall so I’m a happy camper.

I noticed the blue tint and look forward to seeing how that fares when conditions allow. Headed to full summer here so the sun is barely setting and I don’t do much night driving at the moment.

One last observation, my stock OEM mirrors had a metal clip at the bottom of them. (See picture below.) Not sure what it is for exactly, perhaps extra stabilization? But the WOLFBOX mirrors did not have it.

@WOLFBOX do you know what the metal clip on the OEM mirrors is for and how come your replacements don’t include it? Thanks.
