Forgot to put the before pics in but it’s definitely much easier to see my trailer now. Still have to move your head around obviously but not nearly as much or at all if just looking to check clearance

@BambiBasher

Checked out your pics of the side mirror install. Can you adjust the side mirror(s) so you don't get so much of your JT in the view?

Preferred is like in the pics below.

IF your vehicles side windows are heavily tinted or you are one that wears decent polarized sun glasses you are undoubtedly, best not to go with the "Blue" side mirrors (combo equals too dark)

By the way, first to market for such a side view mirror offering for the JL/JT, Suma Performance spews what I stated above about heavily tinted window glass and Blue side mirrors are not a good combo.
I have both so I'll go with no blue tint. Thanks for your info!!!

I can adjust the passenger side Wolfbox mirror out like this, or at least close, but I CAN NOT adjust the drivers out like that. Quite a bit of truck still in the mirror when the drivers is adjusted all the way out.

Can confirm, even fully out on the driver’s side you still get a decent amount of the JT in the frame. But . . . as they are wide angle you get a good view of the lanes beside you too! More so than on the OEM mirrors.

I just sent you a private message telling you about a tweak that will undoubtedly fix this issue. I know the simple tweak works on the Suma's.

IF the tweak works for your Wolfbox offering, let other fellow Wolfbox mirror owner's here know about it.

I'm confident the simple tweak will work for you...

I have been using the tweak for years and many JL owner's that I told the tweak about use the tweak successfully.

Don't "settle" for seeing the side of the JT when with a simple tweak, you will no longer see the JT but see say another half lane of traffic, etc. on your dirver's side.

Sent you a private message. No harm for you to try the tweak. Takes about 10 seconds to apply.
Spread the word about the tweak.

By the way..... DO, do routinely clean the side view mirrors and apply Ceramic Spray to them. Use a micro fiber cloth when you clean the mirrors. Avoid harsh window cleaning sprays.

I have installed Suma Performance Side Mirrors on 7+ JL's and JT's. I have never ever seen / experienced the issue you are having. I'm thinking you are not installing the mirror correctly. Install again and be 100% certain you line up connect points and that they connect properly.
I appreciate the help but they are installed correctly. They pop solidly into place and don't move under normal conditions. I've been emailing back and forth with Suma and they said the issue has come up before. It isn't a solid hit against the housing, just barely enough of a pinch to hold a dollar bill in place. It just happens to be at the point where mine are properly adjusted. Mine have only come off twice and both times were at highway speeds in strong crosswind. I'm guessing there is enough flex in the housing that when the wind hits it just right the mirror pops off. Both times it has happened the mirror stayed connected by the wires but it is enough of a problem that I put the original mirror back in the truck just in case. My only idea is to remove a little material from either the frame or the mirror to widen the gap. I haven't looked closely at the mirror yet but I'll take it off this weekend and see if I can make a little room.

You mentioned a tweak that might be helpful with the Wolfbox mirrors. If it might help my situation, please send it to me also.

Thank you for the follow up and additional tips! Great information! I’ll let you know how it goes.
