  1. So for those with Overlander rigs, questions..

Don't chase that perfect setup right away, as your wants and needs are going to change as you get out more. I've been through multiple setups over the past couple years in search of that perfect build for me. I think I've finally found it, or at least the foundation to build off of. I hate, I...
  2. Lithium lifepo4 not charging

Reach out to Genesis. I'm not familiar with how the dual batt system works, but I suspect it all goes through the hub first. Their controller hub might need to be set to lithium instead of AGM.
  3. WINTER IS COMING- 37” c load KO2 are thrashed and trash

I always run 3peak tires simply because a lot of places in the mountains require winter tires, 3pmsf, or tire chains if you don't have either of the previous two. (yes, AWD or 4x4 can also take place of those requirements, but if your tires suck so does 4x4) Can't speak for the Mickey Baja Boss...
  4. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Get some dielectric grease and go through any connectors in the wheel wells or underside that might be subject to water intrusion. I've found the seals dry out pretty quick on these vehicles. EDIT: I see papa already mentioned this.
  5. Anyone recently add the new single drawer decked system?

As you can see in the right side drawer, my stove easily fits (blue item) and I can still get my propane tanks next to it. I couldn;t fit my stove in the decked drawers, even the wide one. It would go about 1/4 the way down into the wide drawer before it hit the sides.
  6. Anyone recently add the new single drawer decked system?

The decked drawers are funny shaped because of the rollers, they taper towards the bottom, and then have a weird channel at the very bottom that is less width than the rest, so it makes fitting things in there awkward. IIRC, they were shaped like this; Additionally, you can't use the space...
  7. Anyone recently add the new single drawer decked system?

I had one, and I sold it about 2 months later. Too much wasted space for me, and between shape and height the space I did have was mostly unusable for the items I wanted to store. The amount of usable storage space you get with the 2 drawer system is really lacking. I ended up building my own...
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

As far s I'm concerned, I bought the vehicle to use it, so I'm going to use it. I just don't want to "end of life" it quite so fast. I laugh when I hear people say they don't want to rack up miles because it lowers resale value. Not driving your vehicle to keep low miles for resale value is...
  9. How does an expert break in a new engine..

I'd like to see what type of average lifespan people see that just do normal prevanttive maintenance at the manufacture recommended intervals and drive it like 95% or owners do, vs those that get nitpicky about oil types, run oil analysis every change, run shorter intervals, etc. I'd bet there...
  10. We are Suckers

I'm just coming back to say once again that Toyotas are boring. That is all.
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I've put 30k on since January. I'll have at least 35k by the time this Jan comes around. Fiance is looking to get a new vehicle so I might buy hers for a daily so I don't put so many miles on the Gladi.
  12. How much diesel to fill your truck from empty?

This really depends on the pump. If the pump is already slower even at fully open, then waiting 60 seconds and pumping the rest really slowly works fine, but some pumps are too high flow and cause a ton of foam and can't be pumped slow enough. The one nearest my house has zero chill. No matter...
  13. Is it me... Are are these backwards

It absolutely translates when you look at the reasoning behind why it "should" be forward for down and rearward for up. Momentum is momentum regardless the application. The only reason we use race cars to explain it is because in race cars the motion and function of it all is exaggerated to...
  14. What are your experiences with the ACCUAIR system?

What shocks were you running? I've been reading that it's really hard to tune shocks for the Accuair, which seems to be a common complaint across a few other vehicle platforms as well.
  15. Is it me... Are are these backwards

No, Jeep actually has the manual shift correct, and I was very happy when I saw that. Sit yourself in a Porsche with a PDK, THATS how it should be. Forward for downshift, because it's easier to apply positive control when decelerating. Pull back for upshift because it's easier for positive...
  16. What are your experiences with the ACCUAIR system?

Glad to see most folks having relatively positive results with their system. I have been on the fence, I really want just the rear only kit but Accuair doesn't offer one for the diesel (unsure why, they offer a 4 corner kit, why not just offer the same components minus the fronts?). A good...
  17. Service 4WD light, code C147B-92 and P032F

That to me sounds like either a loose connector or more than likely you have a break at one of those points in the bulletin I posted. So it would make sense that everything works fine when the conditions are right and the wire isn't moved, but once that wire gets moved then you get the light.
  18. Service 4WD light, code C147B-92 and P032F

My understanding is it will only affect function if the light is active and being displayed. My systems all function just fine in Utah even though my light comes and goes (as long as the light is off). If your light is intermittent and comes and goes (like mine did), it's likely a short somewhere.
  19. Service 4WD light, code C147B-92 and P032F

Regarding the FAD: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10177485-9999.pdf I had this happen no shit the day I drove it home from the dealer and parked in my driveway. Left to go to town an hour later and the code popped up. The dealer "fixed it", but 6 months later it started happening...
  20. For those of you that want a 2 door Gladiator

I might take flak for this, but give me this with a diesel and 37's with a 6ft bed, and I'd cream in my jeans.
