Try cleaning the big plug behind the passenger side fender with some electronics cleaner. Dry it then plug back together "if" .that it "if" you dont see a code.
I dont want to scare you but I got that message when my transmission was messing up .and yes "P" would blink. Except mine wouldn't go into reverse when it would do it and tell me to go back to park.
You aren't scaring me. I have no emotional ties to any vehicle. It's under warranty. We will see if the warning comes back.

I would be careful in how you present it and avoid talking about any slush and spraying the underside. Even though we have a "off road" vehicle, some dealerships get weird if they find water or mud intrusion into stuff and put the blame back on you and refuse a warranty fix.

It's not like I drove it in a lake. I cleaned off my vehicle. At this point, it hasn't happened again so maybe it was just a glitch. Happens to phones and computers so it could happen to a vehicle.

I am going with water or corrosion that big plug I told you about has at time been a culprit as well as the ECM plugs as well. @Maximus Gladius suggest using DeoxIT says it did a fantastic job cleaning it .

I've put 30k on since January. I'll have at least 35k by the time this Jan comes around. Fiance is looking to get a new vehicle so I might buy hers for a daily so I don't put so many miles on the Gladi.

Even though we shouldn’t need to, you’re spot on.

As far s I'm concerned, I bought the vehicle to use it, so I'm going to use it. I just don't want to "end of life" it quite so fast. I laugh when I hear people say they don't want to rack up miles because it lowers resale value.

Not driving your vehicle to keep low miles for resale value is like not having sex with your girlfriend to save them for the next person. It just doesn't make sense.

I buy big tubes of silicon dielectric - it's highly recommended (pretty much a "DO THIS" for snow plow connections) and it's been around for decades.
I've used it on almost every connector on my classics. It seals, it keeps water out, it prevents oxidation (because it keeps air and water out) and it makes connectors a heck of a lot easier to assemble and take apart again.
Started using it on ignition systems in the late 1970s and it grew from there. I literally fill the connectors and put them together.
If it's an electric connector, I use that stuff on it. If it's a bulb in a socket - I use it.

So it hasn't done it again since. Maybe it dried out. It's not like I submerged it. I literally drove down a trail with slush and some mud. Then pressure washed the underside of the Jeep to get the mud off before it dried. Although most had been removed from driving on the wet roads while it was raining.

Get some dielectric grease and go through any connectors in the wheel wells or underside that might be subject to water intrusion. I've found the seals dry out pretty quick on these vehicles.

EDIT: I see papa already mentioned this.

Installed my Clayton Overland 2.5 lift I got during their black Friday sale, took me about 8 hours. Went with the Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks, living it so far!

Live it up brother.

You already bought something on a Black Friday sale, received it and installed it. All before Black Friday itself? lol.
