  1. Gladiator (Nighthawk) total length and height

Welcome to the forum. They are listed under Dimensions on the Jeep web site: https://www.jeep.com/2025/gladiator/specs.nighthawk.html
  2. Another person needing help with an upgrade to the soundbar

I honestly don't remember, but I don't recall looking at the cf versions, and I don't think they showed as compatible on crutchfield - maybe because of they are 2 ohm. The cfx also has a shallower mounting depth, so that may have played into it.
  3. Attention RokBloks owners

I ditched all the thumbscrews and installed them using stainless hardware with wide flat washers. But, I never remove them, so I don't need thumbscrews.
  4. Another person needing help with an upgrade to the soundbar

Yes, the 3.5 is all I did on mine. The 3.5 handles the higher frequencies and the 4" is more of a midrange.
  5. Another person needing help with an upgrade to the soundbar

I also debated getting a set of 6" component speakers for the sound bar. I ended up installing 3.5" Infinity Reference REF-3032cfx speakers (3 ohm) in both the dash & sound bar. I did just the dash first and it was a huge improvement (and the installation was super simple). The soundbar was...
  6. 500 mile on ODO

I'll stay out of the oil weight debate. IMO, it is always a good idea to perform early oil changes on both the engine and differentials. For the engine, 500 miles is a bit early. I'd wait until 1000 - 1500 miles for the first change, then change at 5k intervals. For the differentials, I'd do...
  7. Selec Trac full time 4WD once standard on Sport Models

The video simply explains how the traction control & BLD works. I am still very much interested in how you came to the conclusion that "Jeep's highly regarded BLD - brake lock differential - traction control system is probably superior to Selec-Trac, though it has a slight learning curve."
  8. Creaking Doors

That's good. It means that the creak must be some type of relative movement at that seam. I wonder how the dry lube will hold up long term. The Boeshield that I used is a liquid that penetrates, then 'sets up' to a wax, so once it's there, it stays there. Like I said, I'm going on 2 months...
  9. At least the previous owner apologized...

That looks like an aluminum aftermarket oil filter/cooler housing. Hmmmm ....
  10. Creaking Doors

My driver's door started clicking back in 2022, when my JTM was a year old. That was soon followed by the passenger's front door, although not as bad as the driver's door. I unhooked the door check to 'fix' the driver's door but never did anything for the passenger's front door. It would...
  11. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

Gotcha. A LRF tire "Will be damn near a run-flat tire" if lightly loaded when air pressure is in the single digits, but my LRE tire will drastically deform at low pressure when it is relatively lightly loaded compared to its rated load capacity. Here is the requested sidewall picture. It...
  12. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

I don't have a LRF tire, so let's consider a LRE tire. If a LRF tire "Will be damn near a run-flat tire" (according to Griz, see above), then an LRE should still not have all that much sidewall deflection on a relatively lightweight vehicle, right? So see if any of the previously posted...
  13. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

The amount of load that the sidewall can support is insignificant compared to what the air pressure supports. That's why tires go flat when you let the air out of them. Or maybe they don't. I clearly don't know.
  14. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

    :giggle:
  15. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

Wait a second. You don't even understand that it is actually the air pressure carrying the load and not the tire sidewall?
  16. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

The confusion about sidewall stiffness on LRE or LRF tires is coming from a misunderstanding of basic design principles. LRE and LRF tires have stronger sidewalls in order to hold the higher air pressure required to carry heavier loads. I think everyone can agree on that. The issue is that...
  17. Selec Trac full time 4WD once standard on Sport Models

I would be interested to learn more about how you came to that conclusion.
  18. 2024 rubicon white paint issue

Ahhh, completely different than mine. That looks like a spot of dried tree sap to me. If it is, put a blob of alcohol-based gel hand sanitizer on it and let it sit for a while - like overnight if possible. That should soften the tree sap and let you wipe it off. But, with that said, is that...
  19. 2024 rubicon white paint issue

Can you post a picture? I'm curious to see where it is and how large the area is. My white 2021 Mojave has a small area of the paint that is a little 'funky', and it was there at delivery. It is on the right side plastic cowl piece that is above the fender at the base of the windshield. I...
  20. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

This is one of those things that keeps getting repeated, but it isn't an accurate statement for all LRE & F tires. LRE & F tires need strong sidewalls in order to hold the higher air pressure required to carry heavier loads. This does not always equate to a 'stiffer' sidewall, no matter how...
