no, but it tucks behind the tailgate, so you're not just going to open it up without considerable force. This one doesn't appear to do that, like it could just be pulled open even with the tailgate closed

is it also locked closed when the tailgate is locked, like the factory version? That's huge for me.

Does the Daystar 2" kit come like that (2" front 1" rear)? The description on the website says 2" front and rear.

I ran a search in here already and didn't come up with anything. I was wondering if anyone knows what the travel is on the stock Rubicon shocks. I plan on running a 2" spacer lift with stock suspension gear and 33" tires. The kit comes with larger bump stops and I'm considering not putting...

I got the D1 status and VIN from the live chat on Jeep.com. I got the estimated ship date from my salesman

I ordered mine 07Aug. Got an estimated ship date as well as VIN# this morning from the dealer. I had to call....he didnt just send me an update, so I don't know exactly when those statuses were reached.

This will be the first brand new vehicle I have ever purchased...much less ordered. I justified it by selling my Silverado and making my wife tired of me taking her car to work! lol...D1 status with an estimated ship of 23Aug as of this morning.

Got with Don at pixel decals. He's going to do my hood lettering. Said he can't do badges but sent recommendations of who can. Thank you, everyone, for the suggestion.
