Good: fun, love driving this thing. Always wanted a Wrangler, but needed a truck again, and this is the perfect melding of the two. Love the waves. Love the overall experience.
Bad: Even though the windshield is Gorilla Glass it’s cracked. Currently being held together from the inside by...
Literally just had this happen. Last night I heard a rattling on what I thought was the dash, at the base of the windshied… I was stuck in traffic earlier today and noticed a new sun glint from the passenger lower corner. Right under the Willys silhouette up at a diagonal. No stone chip nothing...
Rok Blokz are doing a solid job keeping my sides clean. I think my initial complaint/worry about the spray was more from other vehicles than it was about the flaps…
I can’t wait to get the backs on when the weather gets warmer.
I don’t... I’d like to get it washed first but don’t want to waste money doing it until I can get a few dry days to enjoy a clean truck before it gets dirty again.
Loving clean vehicles and living off a dirt road are not a good mix. ?
GREAT find!!! Thanks for posting.
The RokBlokz front flaps have helped a ton but I still get spray. If these help more - plus look great - and only cost $52 bucks this is money very well spent!
Same flaps, same dirty truck, same color, only difference is I went with the black RB logo! I only got my fronts installed though, the rears required a bit more time in the freezing cold than my hands would stand.
I was getting mud splashed up under the door handles and that was nasty.
I...
Coming directly from Cherokees with the 9 speed, they were good for MPG but had some really awkward lag points … I’m happier overall with the way the Gladiator shifts.
Overdrive would most likely not help what “ails” the Gladiator: It’s a brick. A sexy, fun to drive, people-wave-at-you brick.
That’s my take. And this size is perfect for me. I always wanted a Wrangler Unlimited, but need a truck bed several times a year. When I saw the camouflaged Gladiator being test driven early on in it’s development cycle, it started a little bit of a vehicle obsession that culminated in me being...
Apologies for what will be a very lame question but I literally have nothing to compare to…
How hardcore are these events? are they geared toward rock crawling?
Where is the one in Detroit held…? There are offroad parks in the area (within an hour).
Interesting. Not for this Friday but sometime in the future.
Exactly my feelings - of course I want it all now but I’m enjoying getting this thing squared away just how I want it with smaller things, like interior storage, and being patient for the bigger things.
