  1. How long have you owned your Gladiator? Still Love it?

6 months. Still freaking love it.
  2. Mojave Gas Mileage

As it warms up I notice my Mojave with around 7k miles on it is getting better. Just over 17mpg now (yes, light-footing it, gas isn’t cheap) and hoping for 18+ as it gets hotter. Might swap out the air filter soon too, I live in a dusty area. That always helped my old trucks out.
  3. Keeping door handles clean (extended fender flares?)

I still have to install my rears. Not in a huge rush. ?
  4. Jeep Vanity Plates

The best Jeep plate I ever saw was probably 20 years ago on a Wrangler: ā€œOBOYMUDā€.
  5. JT: Reliability

Just checking/hoping it would be something that simple.
  6. JT: Reliability

by chance did you run the engine with out the gas cap on? Or with it not tightened? I used to get check engine lights in other vehicles when the cap wasn’t tightened (or was an aftermarket cap)
  7. JT: Reliability

I just hit 7k miles on the drive this morning and don’t want to tempt fate. I had to get the GG windshield replaced last month though. It cracked seemingly on it’s own. Fingers crossed that’s the only issue!
  8. Dealership advertising on your Jeep.

If they do decals I tell them it either comes off without scratching, or they take another $1k off the final price. I might be an advertising guy but I don’t do advertising for dealers. Thankfully the place I got my Mojave at only did license place frames, and they ditched that when they put the...
  9. mojave or rubicon

Made this decision myself… I went with the Mojave and am thrilled with it.
  10. Is 6' 3" really too tall

6’4ā€ here. Wouldn’t mind a little more distance from the pedals but totally comfy in this thing.
  11. First Five Mods (Mojave)

Not gonna lie, if I can get away without a real winch and do whatever work I can do with a come-along at a fraction of the cost, my wallet would really like to stick with a good come-along! (I’ll probably end up with a new bumper and winch at some point… I’ve come this far building my dream...
  12. First Five Mods (Mojave)

Sure thing - the fronts are here - the rear is somewhere else, sorry, only time for one link. Can’t wait to get ā€˜em on. OH and I love the RokBlokz mudflaps. I don’t usually like the look of mudflaps but I like not having to squish wet mud when bringing takeout home or just getting into the...
  13. First Five Mods (Mojave)

Weathertech floor mats ā˜‘ļø - truck didn’t come with all weather slush mats so I opted for excellent Weathertechs. Weathertech tonneau cover ā˜‘ļø - I like a dry bed to cover my truck box. Bulletpoint phone and dash cam holders ā˜‘ļø - great quality, I didn’t like having my pricey phones just...
  14. LSD Equipped Gladiators Better Than Rubicon in Snow ?

I intentionally got my Mojave with AWD and it was a fine vehicle for snow… Not sure if it’s my best ever snow machine as yet (the Cherokee Trailhawk has that honor for now). I admit I babied it for a bit but it didn’t even need any sand bags in the bed!
  15. What has this forum cost you?

So far just some mudflaps, headliners, grab handles and some other sundries. All upgrades and good things, but the big thing for me is not what I’ve spent, it’s what I’ve learned. For that I am grateful.
  16. Gorilla glass crack... wtf

Yep! Same here... Same with the defroster too, I don’t know, do we need to coddle this allegedly tougher glass? At least mine had the decency to wait a couple months. But still, I was not crazy about needing a new windshield inside of the first year of owning this thing. I’ve had trucks for...
  17. Must have Mods

Bullet point mounting solutions rail & phone holders Weathertech floor mats and tonneau cover Grab handles for the wife (she’s short) when it’s warmer outside I will install the molle headliners, can’t wait for that one.
  18. Sirius XM so shady

This is probably the Boomer-iest thing this Gen-Xer will say but I’m not paying for radio. My 6 months is up next month. I have a great music library and Spotify for my audio needs.
  19. At $495, is Gorilla Glass still worth the price?

This is my first Gladiator/Wrangler type vehicle with a flat windshield. I heard about how Wranglers go through windshields at a good clip so thought it was a good thing when my Gladiator came with GG. ’til 3 months later when I was sitting in traffic and watching my windshield crack - no stone...
  20. Favorite color you didn’t buy…

Gobi is awesome. I also liked the black one I test drove, but after having a couple black vehicles I’m fine with not having one. I have Sarge green and love it though, so I’m good. Gobi though… love that color.
