As it warms up I notice my Mojave with around 7k miles on it is getting better. Just over 17mpg now (yes, light-footing it, gas isnāt cheap) and hoping for 18+ as it gets hotter. Might swap out the air filter soon too, I live in a dusty area. That always helped my old trucks out.
by chance did you run the engine with out the gas cap on? Or with it not tightened? I used to get check engine lights in other vehicles when the cap wasnāt tightened (or was an aftermarket cap)
I just hit 7k miles on the drive this morning and donāt want to tempt fate. I had to get the GG windshield replaced last month though. It cracked seemingly on itās own.
Fingers crossed thatās the only issue!
If they do decals I tell them it either comes off without scratching, or they take another $1k off the final price. I might be an advertising guy but I donāt do advertising for dealers. Thankfully the place I got my Mojave at only did license place frames, and they ditched that when they put the...
Not gonna lie, if I can get away without a real winch and do whatever work I can do with a come-along at a fraction of the cost, my wallet would really like to stick with a good come-along!
(Iāll probably end up with a new bumper and winch at some point⦠Iāve come this far building my dream...
Sure thing - the fronts are here - the rear is somewhere else, sorry, only time for one link. Canāt wait to get āem on.
OH and I love the RokBlokz mudflaps. I donāt usually like the look of mudflaps but I like not having to squish wet mud when bringing takeout home or just getting into the...
Weathertech floor mats āļø - truck didnāt come with all weather slush mats so I opted for excellent Weathertechs.
Weathertech tonneau cover āļø - I like a dry bed to cover my truck box.
Bulletpoint phone and dash cam holders āļø - great quality, I didnāt like having my pricey phones just...
I intentionally got my Mojave with AWD and it was a fine vehicle for snow⦠Not sure if itās my best ever snow machine as yet (the Cherokee Trailhawk has that honor for now). I admit I babied it for a bit but it didnāt even need any sand bags in the bed!
So far just some mudflaps, headliners, grab handles and some other sundries. All upgrades and good things, but the big thing for me is not what Iāve spent, itās what Iāve learned. For that I am grateful.
Yep! Same here... Same with the defroster too, I donāt know, do we need to coddle this allegedly tougher glass? At least mine had the decency to wait a couple months. But still, I was not crazy about needing a new windshield inside of the first year of owning this thing. Iāve had trucks for...
Bullet point mounting solutions rail & phone holders
Weathertech floor mats and tonneau cover
Grab handles for the wife (sheās short)
when itās warmer outside I will install the molle headliners, canāt wait for that one.
This is probably the Boomer-iest thing this Gen-Xer will say but Iām not paying for radio. My 6 months is up next month. I have a great music library and Spotify for my audio needs.
This is my first Gladiator/Wrangler type vehicle with a flat windshield. I heard about how Wranglers go through windshields at a good clip so thought it was a good thing when my Gladiator came with GG.
ātil 3 months later when I was sitting in traffic and watching my windshield crack - no stone...
Gobi is awesome. I also liked the black one I test drove, but after having a couple black vehicles Iām fine with not having one. I have Sarge green and love it though, so Iām good. Gobi though⦠love that color.
